  • Rollin 40s Crip sprayed on the wall at 0:29

  • @chrissline77 me fucking your mom at 4:13

  • @spammingnoobs ........Nice. I hope you enjoyed her.

  • ice t did it all...from original rap to metal then came back to rock the new tip...he is the OZZY of rap...ALL HAIL

now you ya seeCOCO...not quite sharon but she get for her man...

  • @maybeso666 he never did "metal" you trendy fag, BC was punk with gangsta influence

  • @2pacthugzta Don't insult people if you don't even know the right answer, punk. He wanted to do some music that goes back to his roots of rock and roll, and BC is more METAL than PUNK. Punk, lol... you don't even know what punk is.

  • ice t did it all...from original rap to metal then came back to rock the new tip...he is the OZZY of rap...ALL HAIL

  • RESPECT ICE ! THE REAL DEAL 5 STAR ! A BRO , WAS COOL MEETING ICE IN VEGAS OLD DAYS , PEACE , AL

  • Classic OG album... Man this brings back memories. Much respect.

  • @unseenbombsquad ...... "soft leaf?" its "loose leaf!!"

  • @ 2:13 islam got the zulu nation back up, man was on ball.

  • "I grabbed the pen and put it to some soft leaf...." so dope!!!

  • classic!!!

  • DJ Aladdin on the prod and the CUT!

  • Man dope, i love it! i Still got the Original Video Tape!!!!

  • This is Ice-T's best album hands down O.G. Orginal Gangster!

  • Ice T was always good, he was one of the pioneers of Rap and will always be a legend

  • @aroria27 Yes he is you know he's originally from NEWARK NJ????????

  • Dam this is fresh didnt no T got dwn like tht

  • If he didn't use his deep monotone voice, it would be 10x doper, sick beat and rhymes. It's like "Ice T - That's how I'm livin" his album track was pretty terrible, yet the video track was dope. Same goes for "Boss - Progress of elimination" album vs video.

  • @Krisando

I think the fact that he spit it in monotone style made it more of a classic. Back then LA rappers always tried to act hard in videos and songs. Ice-T was the original OG who stood out in "stare baggidocio"

  • 1991

  • Gabriell 15-- maybe cuz it Is the same place they just switched the name to Los Santos while in real life it's south central LA

  • RESPECT ! ICE T IS COOL , I MET HIM 93 WE TALKED ALONE FER 3 OR 4 MIS , IT WAS DOPE AND HE LOVED THAT I WAS YALKING BOUT HIM IN THE MOVIE NEW JACK CITY , CLASSIC TOP DOPE ASS MOVE ! FREE WESLEY SNIPE'S ASAP ! BLADE'S IN DA JOINT SUXX ! AL / NYC / VEGAS / L.A NOW L.P.C. FLORIDA .= LAKE PARK CITY !

  • this place is like los santos gta SA.

  • 20 years later...i still think this is one the best hip hop records of all time

  • From the first to last song i would have to agree. I was in 6th grade at the time and me and my friend listened to this tape (yes a cassete tape) all the time. Ive probably listened to this album from begging to end over 50 or so times. He is the best storyteller iver ever heard on a record. You just knew he was real and not fake like 95% of the rappers out there...

  • @jasoncaric what year is this?

  • 90 or 91

  • @jasoncaric ok thanks

  • @jasoncaric lol.. 50 times only??? i must have listened to it hundreds of times only on the tape.. then i got the cd... oh dear... my gf started picking on my and got all jealous because i listened more to Ice-T than to her... word.. (we broke up, and then she got fat.... a fat b!tch - lmfao)

  • "He" B da Man !

  • My brains a hand grenade,catch haha

  • 16 pussys are bitchez 2

    GOOD TIMES

  • Ice T with another one of his klassic videos!!

  • real g

  • I listen to mostly indie, this is the ONLY rap I'll listen to. Nothing like old school; real lyrics, heavy beats; the new generation has nothing on this.

  • Sick Mix. Lava hot!

  • yeah , the " Mind over Matter " sample came from Public Enemy's " Right Starter" (Mesage to the BlackMan ) off the " Yo! BumRush the show!"

  • I think the main sample " Mind over Matter " ( Mouth in motion ) comes from Public Enemy's " Yo! Bum Rush the show!" courtesy of Chuck D!

  • i love Ice-T i met him&he is a nice person,true as can be,was very respectful towards my friend&i...

  • Uh. Good gawd. Love those JB samples. Sweet track!

  • iceberg lol fail wale

  • Think positiv, and you'll be unable to fall....

Ice T....killed it with that line.

  • Those who like me now might not of liked me then but /

I'm a keep impressin', stressin' my lesson...and keep motherfuckers guessin'.

  • real gangster rapper.... today so much fakes

  • ITS ICE T DUMBASS

  • IceT man, one of the originals, one of the fathers of Hip-Hop

  • my favorite from OG... would sell my sould for the instrumental =P

  • Classic Ice-T track...thanks

  • This was the best Ice T cd until the next one came out (Home Invasion).

  • @KYSNB Why - Home invasion was powerfull polical/racial rap it covers different fields than O.G. Ice-T should be listened from Rhyme pays to the Gangsta rap album than you see the whole picture (Bodycount and SMG are optional but recommended).

    Ice T is living legend!

  • @Hitman78CRO You aint gotta tell me I was playin Ice since he started. Yeah way back in the 80's an 90's from six in the mornin on. Mimic used to spin the record so I know about The Ice cuz.

  • @KYSNB

Nice to hear that dog... Stay cool then - I'm just educating youngstaz...

  • Best Ice-T track, period!

  • @djgups I agree!!!!

  • Awesome lyrics.

  • ROLLIN 40'S CRIP GANG

  • This album ICE-T O.G. 1 OF THE BEST OF ALL TIME !!!!!!!!!!!! The DOPE SHIT

  • To jest Gangsta RAP!!!!

  • so dope, 2010, still fresh !!!

  • I had every tape every video I can still spit this word for word Ice T true west coast OG

  • did he get this beat from ruthless rap assassins- just us?

  • @mikeripperA well, the main sample is lifted from p-funk(funkadelic, i believe). the high pitched guitar riff.

  • @jdbankshot

Public Enemy's " Right Starter " is where the main sample came from.

    Mind over Matter

  • @EDOGZ818 dude, that slow, high pitched guitar riff, not the vocal in the hook. i'm a P.E. fiend, i knew that was Chuck. i believe it's from maggotbrain(hell of an album), but it may be from the self titled album. take care, & keep hip hop alive!

  • @EDOGZ818 AHA!!! found it! album: funkadelic year: 1970 track #2 called " i bet you". check it out, tons of classic samples, the whole album. (track #1, "two to the head" by kool g rap feat. ice cube & scarface)

  • @jdbankshot

    Hahahaa!

    Classic Mayne!

    Good $hyt!

You just expanded my knowledge! +1

  • @EDOGZ818 thank you & no prob, glad to be of service. i remember when new future classics were droppin almost weekly from 84 & on. starting in about 89 at age 14, i'd always check the liner notes for the sample credits. that led me to even more gold. the meters, sly & the family stone, the ohio players, curtis mayfield, p-funk & james brown of course, bob james, miles davis, etc........ nothin like some good ol phat shit!!! peace bro, anytime.

  • @jdbankshot

Check that soundtrack & link up with :

    Well Regulated American Militias

Look at the " Militia Think Tank"

    The soundtrack is some fiyah!

    Deep political discussions too!

We standing up for our rights under the US constitution!

  • @EDOGZ818 will do, thanx alot. let's get free!!!!

  • Just read all the comments and I have to put in: this track has DEPTH and SINCERITY. It's REAL. Can't understand why some don't get it and can't just get some knowledge and understanding with their music. My favorite Ice-T track ever, playing this to my kid in the womb.

  • Fantastic video, it's 1000% true Mind over Matter works, if you don't believe it, so sad, too bad for you.

  • Not as good as Home Invasion..but one of his best tracks......defo the OG...better than all the shite wannabe's about today....

  • Ice T-real ol'skool image.

  • He is a lyrical genius

  • dope

  • Ice-T is probably the most underated rapper. He created Gansta Rap pay him his royalties punks........

This is OG. And this here song in specific? Kept bruthas heads up when things were bad. Gave them hope. So go fuck yourself. Wit my shotty
  • @thug4life4444

Matter of fact, T had a lot of songs talkin about strength and wisdom and using your head.

I stepped off a few things because I could hear Ice in my head talkin about, 'be smart, let every thing you do, be thought through. Check yourself. Don't get played by nothing. Especially not by life.'

    Some brains behind his rap.
