  • wow!!! super power!!!

  • i wonder if the engineer ever seen this video lol

  • How can anyone dislike this! It is what the title stated and video is great!

makes me want to stand naked and greet them like this! lol

    youtube.com/watch?v=dFIkpP19gX8

  • and whats the average value of one unit!? times 24 ?? LOL

  • Claremore, OK

  • Driver: You Seem Me Rolling ....

  • tht explains y diesel prices r so much! lol

  • Man that would suck hardcore to have to MU all those engines together, sad to see the old Sante Fe's going!!

  • Is that Claremore, OK ?

  • Looks like there's enough power in that consist to tow the Earth's axis!

  • does anyone know if those units have been painted into the cn scheme for 2100's. I have never seen these locomotives before.

  • great catch

  • i counted 19 CN patches

  • Why do they all need to be running when moving them? Wouldn't it save tons of fuel to pull those with only 1 or 2, leaving the rest off?

  • @sc0tte1

I was thinking exactly the same!

  • Nice CN in swoosh paint sceam

  • wow whare were those engines going and one thing friken sick lucky man norfolk southern man out

  • 19 CN bought units

    4 BNSF units.

    total:23 units.

  • Wow I bet that is the fastest power move Ive ever seen. I just loved the santa fe ones with the red and silver!

  • heheh. CN looks good in Orange xD

  • Watch the video again. The first two, and last two are still BNSF. The CN engines are the 19 engines in the middle. With four engines they are using about 17,600 HP to move that 3,800 ton train.

  • Those locos are going to CN. Cn just recently bought a bunch of old locos from UP and BNSF ( dash 9-44CW, dash 8-40C and dash 8-40CW)

  • @FSstudios1 Canadian national

  • @sd70m2man then wat does bnsf mean?

  • @Pompadour123 Then maybe they are just moving the engines or what do you mean by bnsf?

  • @Pompadour123 what do you mean by bnsf?

  • @sd70m2man wat does bnsf stand for? Baddest National Stupid Freight ????? joking lol .... no seriously wat does it stand for?

  • @Pompadour123 IIRC Burlington Northern - SantaFe

  • Was just the front engine pulling them or was there also a back pusher ? Reason i say that it looked like I saw smoke coming from the last engine? Awsome site and video !!

  • cn ? what does that mean?

  • Wow! That's something you don't see often, lucky day!

  • I think BNSF will later reget selling them, because they furnish / refurnish CN units 1st class style.. Like having microwave ovens in their cabs for starters. 8-)

  • are they keeping some of theses cn locos in new bnsf color ? cause they look kind of cool but nice video

  • I proud to say that everyone of these locomotives look absolutely amazing in CN colors.

  • Sad those Warbonnets are now a part of the Railroad Borg (CN).

  • i got 1 of these with the cn paint job

  • wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah :(

    i tried this :( 19 times

  • they had pretty bad luck with patching the warbonnets!they really needed to make the base color of that patch yellow.

  • Great video!!

  • how many of them were under power?

  • wow 23 unit cn what????????' grettings from mexico

  • i know that CSX is limited to 15

  • For his morning exercise, Chuck Norris acted as a helper pushing these units for five miles. He then jogged back.

  • No this was shot in claremore oklahoma

  • was this shot just outside of St Paul? Looks like familiar territory.

  • i saw the coolest cn train in northern michigan a few weeks ago it was a cn ac4400 a bunch of coal cars a cn ac4400 helper facing backwards and a bunch of freight cars.

  • Nice Catch, great vid. Sad to see though how many Warbonnets are getting sold off. :(

  • It is actually a CN Power move ;-)

  • Wow!! Great video!!!

  • they look nice in cn livery now

  • Is the CN shown on the couple of Santa Fe trains stickers or something, and the ones that looks like BNSF are acually CN, or just a paint scheme or whatever?

  • Oh how I would love to see those pulling a huge load up a grade.

  • wow very nice

  • whats next

a UP flag paint schemes with CN on it.

  • so i'll see em up here in canada i guess. why would CN buy these old Dash 8's?

  • wow, all I can say is that CN has a good taste in loco's.

  • A CN WARBONNET WTF

  • @januraymurray2 yes CN Bought these

  • WTF? CN ON OLD SANTA FE ENGINES

  • can some one tell me how too put addons please!

  • Well done!

  • are they going up north to canada

  • @ VIA909 Thanks

  • awesome catch. CRO had something in it and thought i would check it out

  • The CN Swoosh, I now have seen everything.

  • Man that was great to see. I hope we get to see those made for MSTS. Great video

  • @Lightwolf333 Thank you sir

  • Dang! 23 uniits. I have seen only 7 or 8 on the move but this intence

  • @Lightwolf333 These BNSF engines were sold to CN!!!!

  • HOLLY SHIT! What have they got against warbonnets!?!?

  • IMPOSSIBLE.

  • @ELWOOD960 Man i bet u seen some stuff

  • Beautiful video I love the BNSF. Use to live next to the Soo Line and Northern Pacific. You have great video and beautiful color thanks Charlie/MN

  • Thanks

  • now thats what i call a power move

  • @48alfaone cool thanks

  • Aug. 07 / 2010: I have just seen today two freshly painted ex-C&NW, ex-UP, Now CN "C41-8 Standard Cab Units" go through Sarnia Ontario. The Units looked & sounded great as they pulled over 100 cars past here! I love the Standard Cab Dash 8's, so this is a huge plus for me. These are CN's first Standard Cab Dash 8's, how cool is that! I look forward to also seeing these great ex-BNSF Units, haha! Great Video Mr BNSF650, Thanks!

  • Increadible footage!! :D

  • I can not wait to see them in CN paint and maybe see them here in Wisconsin

  • @ja757 yea it would be cool

  • Nice catch, Looks like I will seeing those but by the time I do they will all be repainted. It be neat if they left them just as patched.

  • @Angelicsnoww Thanks

  • thats alot of engines

  • awesome!

  • Thanks for this great catch.

  • @12engines thanks man

  • Very nice Video / Catch. That is very rare to catch a Power Move of that many Engines!!! I missed out on a chance to see a 20+ Engine Power Move in Clinton,Iowa on 6/15/10.

  • HAHA wo those units look really stupid with the CN patch

  • It's hard to think of seemingly-new engines being sold "already." Yet these GE's have been around for longer than I realize -- I'm getting older myself, so I guess it's a matter of perspective!

  • That was a great video, kind of threw me off seeing CN on the sides of some of them.

  • KOOL>>>>>

  • @Nacymtb Thank you for Watching

  • Why did they sell them?

  • @michaelcorleonepate They are unused surplus engines. BNSF has a lot of them.

  • I guess just one engine was pulling all of them?So BNSF has sold all of its engines to CN.Are BNSF getting new engines?

  • @arkansastrash320 They have only sold a few dozen for now, but they might end up selling more later. BNSF has a glut of unused engines at the moment, since they bought a ton of new engines right before the recession and traffic downturn hit. This massively affected older units, with all SD40-2s taken from the mainlines and SD60Ms, C40-8Ws, B40-8s, SD75Is, GP60Bs, plus others were stored.

  • @ truenorther ..umm Ok what for?

  • I'm going to link your video to the Canadian Public Transportation Board(CPTB) for discussion, thx

  • A Unit Train :)

  • Comment removed

  • Call it a unit locomotive train maybe?

  • @Trainmaster55 Yep i think so

  • So that's why they pulled 23 ex BN SD60M's back into service.

  • Did anyone catch the numbers of the units that were sole What their origonal numbers were and what they are now. Nice catch too

  • @ iusetano cool thank you

  • Very impressive catch. I guess we'll be seeing them up here. I'll try and catch some on video if they come my way.

  • @moonwalkker5058 they was sold to CN..

  • Patched BNSF units!!! With CN!!.....Why?

  • @ Pablof59 The first 2 and the last 2 dash 9's

  • @BNSF650 Are they wired to the head unit, or they are driven by engineers ?

  • @pablof59 One crew, then the other three that are online are linked wirelessly.

  • @vonfinkelstein Thanks for your answers !

  • Excellent video and great catch!

  • 23 wow :|

  • How many of the 23 are pulling?

  • Comment removed

  • @pablof59 I counted three or four pulling, its hard to tell unless they are pulling hard or you are standing close. the two in in back were definitely loading.

  • Thanks guys for all the comments

  • I like the CN BNSF and Santa Fe engines all in a lashup

  • @railman247 No CN and BNSF Did not Merge they sold these units to CN becuse they are of the lease

  • @BNSF650 they did however try in the late 90's but the US government blocked the deal saying the company would be way too big for competition to thrive

  • Very sad indeed, I will miss the warbonnents a lot, nice video!

  • At least these C40-8Ws are going to a new home and not the scrapper.

  • very nice

  • Great video and a fav

  • did cn merge to bnsf?

  • @railman247 No.

  • Santa Fe really let those warbonnet's fade.

  • what does CN stand for?

  • @MrShaunwhite Canadian National Railway

  • @wheels069

    BOOOOOOOOOOOO

    go BNSF

  • wow sweet catch bro 23 units it's amazing

    all those are CN?

  • wft!!! CN? That is messed up. They sold those precious units? But why. nice catch.

  • @eccentriceric Why? They have been stored without turning a wheel since 2008. At least someone bought them.

  • Awesome video good catch

  • I actually like them better on BNSF or Santa Fe, without the "CN" patched over their iconic Santa Fe Warbonnet logos.

  • @QVR8 Nice

  • I just saw them in Barstow on tuesday

  • @Jeffwrecker81 Yea i know man it sucks these are leaving BNSF

  • Nice catch!

I'll miss those C40-8W's, I remember seeing them when new

  • @Trainlover98 Thanks man.

  • thats awesome

  • r these the ngines i heard tehy r suposedly giving to CN

  • @PeavineRailfanner at Clearmore,Okla about 4 Hours ago

  • Where was this recorded? When?

  • that was cool . BTW you do a good job on making trianz roads i have a few of your roads on my trainz

  • @UPHeritage your right bro..

  • Well it's sad to see the warbonnets fade away but they're being taken to a better place than just being scrapped.

  • BNSF Morons should take them back. + Cuntnadian National Morons. LOL

  • @UP5140SD70M BNSF can't wait to let go of these and others. They literally have a few collective miles of stored locomotives across the country.

  • @ KSKCSFAN They almost hit a Smi at the next crossing ..

  • Sad to see 'em go! I like the moron at the start of the video that goes through the crossing while the lights are flashing.

  • WOW! What a catch, some new Canadians this way come. Time for MSTS some CN/BNSF Patch jobs...paints

  • wow..thats so weird to see them dispersing their engines like that

  • @GhostFearMe Why is it weird? They have over 1,000 engines parked, accumulating dust and cobwebs.

  • @Trainmandan05 there are going to Memphis to be picked up by CN there

  • Nice work, 5 stars indeed!

  • All these unit are ones that Canadian National bought. They are on there way to Canada!

  • @ BNSFME BNSF has sold these to CN

  • Man, what a catch.

  • CN?

    WTF

  • @BNSFME Yep BNSF sold all of their C40-8Ws and now CN owns them.

  • @BNSFME yea idk I've never seen that b4

  • Yep Thank you

  • Great catch, notice at 0:47 unit 2143 has no horn mounted on top.
