Narcissism isn't confidence. It's mental illness, sparked by a lack of empathy. A clinical narcissist literally doesn't see you as a person. They have an infant's level of self-centredness because there is a deficiency in their character that has arrested them at that point. I feel kind of sorry for them, actually. They can't help it, any more than people with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia can, and they are usually fairly lonely internally.

Narcissists hate when they see their own characteristics in other people, especially when another person I.E (Sam Vaknin) can articulate the characteristics better than you, therefore threatening your narcissistic ego which deep down you fear really is weak. What is with the violently angry video description? Yes, Sam Vatkin is a pathological narcissist. That is obvious if you have read his book or watched his videos. That gives a lot of insight into the mind of an extreme narcissist. This guy should be studied significantly by psychologists to learn more about the disorder. Sam Vaknin is a self-confessed narcissist who produced a fascinating account 'from the inside' of what it means to have a narcissistic worldview. Whatever one thinks of Vaknin, he should be applauded for his relentless self-honesty and self-scrutiny.

The guy who posted the video - "Jesusmalaark11 " - throws cheap insults at Vaknin in a way that shows he obviously CAN'T face up to his own inadequacies. Some NPD sufferers hate Vaknin for holding up an unsettling mirror.

The video description is ironic. Vaknin sounds like a textbook cerebral narcissist. Not very attractive, not as educated as he would appear to be, with a desire to be feared, to be seen as intellectually superior...He is self-aware that he is a narcissist, and (and this is funny), that DOESN'T change him. He only incorporates that realization into his disorder. He knows how a narcissist operates, yet he doesn't have the intellectual capacity to use that information to cure himself.

I think we are all narcisist, we give people something but we want something back, some people say "I helped him because i like to see people happy", and u like to see people happy why? I say it's because you think, "I'm a good person, i deserve that by doing this", even unconsciously, you feel good about yourself.

And there's something more.. some people say "Why god? What did I did wrong to deserve this?", so he/she does something, to then deserve something.

at 8:18 when he says he is a very quick learner (bragging to much is like low confidence anyway), and that it would take him that and that short time to learn the jobs of the people around him, he's really telling them that he is fearing them. he feels the need to tell them that he is better than them and that he is SO great, because deep inside he truly feels probably "less" or something compared to them. narcissists always compare themselves to others and put them selves on top.
