So if a fighter is trained then it is nothing to stand toe to toe and swap body punches back and forth. But one good blow to the head will knock the so-called tough guys straight on their ass! And they know it! That's why the won't allow punches to the face.

Besides, Kyokushin Karatekas don't use gloves. As far as I know, not even boxers will fight in a ring without gloves. On another note, a lot of Kyokushin classes train full body ( Punching to the head ) in a separate class. Which is why you would see Kyokushinkai fighting in K1 bouts.
Most Karate ka have horrible ring habits. I would even go as far as to say most eastern stylists have horrible ring habits. You always drop your hands and KK fighters are no exception. Whether you train for K-1 or not, you can always catch one of you guys with your guard down. Because you have trained for so many years with that body contact only BS. Dropping you hands to cover your body is a habit that formed from this. Stay out of real fights if you know what's good for you.

Kyoukushin is bad ass. Its about who is tougher and pushing your body to the limit. I dont think i ever seen a fighter train harder than kyokushin fighters. Remember this is bare knuckle and no pads. well reconsidering what i said. all styles are different non is better than another. think of it like a wheel . all different styles are a spoke to the same rim. each spoke is different, but when you get to the rim its exactly the same
its basically the same thing. I have done shotokan for 12 years and let me tell you i prefer it to kyuokoshin. this style focuses more on taking impacts than blocking them. In addition, the only difference is that kyuokoshin rules forbitd punches to face, but only allow kicks above and below midsection. I personally prefer shotokan, so if you are looking for a dramatic change you won't get it. Its all karate.

You are very ignorent and you dont have much knowledge of martial arts. Sorry but its true if you think that Chuck liddel could beat 10 of them, they are some of the toughest people in the world. i have respect for UFC but i think that MMA is just a quick fix, not much of an art. and its not like im just defending Kyokushin karate. i practice Shotokan karate, taekwon do, and ju jutsu. so dont go telling me how stupid i am, i probably know much more then you about martial arts.

u say they are not allowed to punch to the head..in the past punching to head was allowed but there was to much blood and they decided to ban punching to head.
