@wheresmyfridge I am so sorry.... I don't always know what to prepare for. I know the trade off for such undeniable and loyal love is that it is fleeting, and all will pass.. you know? I understand that, but I empathize so much because I cannot imagine what that moment will be like. I just want to create as many memories so that when the time comes to pass, I can look back. I am thrilled he is similar enough so you can enjoy memories, no matter how painful! My best, and heart, to you & yours!

Can you put a picture or a link to one in the description of Pavlov? I have a Cairn Terrier but never know what to ask for when he is getting his hair cut. Also, how often do you bring him to be groomed?

@Thomanator123 I am sort of in the lazy camp of grooming: I get him clippered & hand scissored really short, then let his coat grow out for a few months, until it's long & I have to brush him constantly so he's not all dreaded out and ratty. This vid was shot right at the perfect spot... about 3 weeks after being groomed.

I used to get him stripped when he was VERY young, but it's painfully tedious and expensive. I can ask my groomer what they do, precisely? It took a bit to find a good one!

@IPawnt The Canon Point and Shoot have great HD film quality. Not the best low light sensor, but this was the Canon 780IS shooting 720p

Pavlov reminds me so much of our Cairn terrier, Whiskey, who we owned when I was a kid. He passed away in 1979 but this film made me think of him so much, thanks for posting!

We'll have our first cairn next week (we already have a boxer), and the whole family loves watching Pavlov, expecting our puppy to be as cute and expressive as your dog :)

@Pray4Lifedotcom I just upgraded, but this was shot on a Canon SD 780 IS. It's a little teeny compact camera. Apparently I can't link websites in comments... but search it. It's only $150 or so (which is still a lot of money, but stlil....)

It works REALLY well. Shoots 780p High Def Video, along with camera shots. Great camera!

@Pray4Lifedotcom It's a great camera. Well worth it. Find someone with great ebay feedback, and buy a used one off ebay for around $100. It was well worth it. I just got a Nex-3 from Sony. It's EPIC, and I am finally learning some new tricks. But wifey got my red 780IS and she can't stop filming HD vid of our pooch! =)
