When Ray's concert in my home town, Cedar Falls, Iowa, was canceled, I had bought tickets and was smashed to hear it had been cancelled. Of several entertainers I had promised myself I would see, Ray was the last. I thought his music was archetypical, the best of the best.

What is so amzing about Ray Charles was the fact that his blindness never interfered with his love of music, and how he could play the piano, sing his songs, join in with another, just such a grand person, and believe me, he made Engelbert so happy when he joined in with the words of this song. It was a wonderful moment, and will always be one of my favorites. Thanks for posing.

I think that Engelbert had great time with Ray Charles on stage.Enge knows about 40 years corea what is "show business".But he allways remember:Elvis,Sinatra,Dean Martin,Sammy Davis and of cource who follows Enge: he is from Welch. 24.10. 2007 Berlin guess who is listening!
