Jesse James might have been an outlaw but he must of done something right to be one of the most famous outlaws to ever live & for know one to know were he is actually buried at I think he was the best outlaw their ever was
FOR THOSE INTERESTED in the TRUE STORY about Jesse James, may I suggest that you watch my dvd JESSE JAMES LIVED TO BE 103 on YOUTUBE
Jesse DID NOT DIE in 1882, he lived until 1951, and between 1882 and 1951, HE WAS A M AJOR FIGURE in America's past. He poisoned John Wilkes Booth in 1903' handed out repeating rifles to the indians BEFORE the Battle of the LIttle Big Horn, and was elected to the U S Senate from Montana from 1901 - 1907. Please be open. Ralph Epperson
I'm related to him on my Mothers side, and in Missouri he stayed with my Great Grandmas family on there farm, they say he was actually really nice and kind.. Gosh I'll always think of him as a hero even though he killed a few people..
the relation to Jesse James statements are cool... but unless your a direct descendant its kinda pointless... if your family name is traced to Tom Howard its pointless too because there is a lot of speculation Tom Howard was NOT Jesse Woodson James but a cousin of his that tried to live off of his name (also speculated his cousin was also named Jesse James since that name was very popular around that time)
@Thingsyoushouldsee Jesse James had two childern , I know his son had 3 or 4 childern. Jesse James s daughter also maried, not sure if she had childern. But being related dosent mean only direct line, cousins are also blood kin. I am related by blood to a couple known Americans but not a direct line.....family means Aunt uncles, cousins as well as parents and grandparents thru generations. A lot of hersay and gospipe about ole Jesse after his death that amounts to nothing without proof.
@Thingsyoushouldsee I hope I didnt sound like an ass, I just meant I do my family genealogy and am also a huge history buff so I know the stores, rummors, hersays that go on after a person dies add to the mix if the person was famious or imfamious, but without proof isuch as some doument, Bible etc its nothing more the a pound of salt. I personaly believe the historical facts unless someone finds solid proof an error has been made. But a good story is a good story.
@2eyejoe2 I wasnt talking about what the man DID or DIDNT do, I was talking about genealogy MOST people do have realitives. Some are going to see him as a hero others as a bad unforgiveable outlaw but I wasnt talking about that. I love hisorty and genealogy that is my interest in Jesse James.. And ask any historian without PROOF , ...it s all heresay no matter who the person is bad OR good.
@LadyKatherine1960 You are exactly right when you said ask any historian with out proof its here say. Because with Jesse James alot of things are here say and some of the bank jobs and murders people say he did theres no proof in some of them. Historians have different stories some think he was one way some say another way. So for the people who say he was a cold murdering bad guy you shouldn't be so fast to say that because you don't really know wtf happen back then at all. No one really knows
@paragtime Yea I know that the money obivously came from somewhere and im not sayin he didn't rob banks because he did but what im saying is that some banks they say he robbed might of not been him. And just because he robbed banks doesn't mean he killed unarmed innocent people while robbing those banks. He might have but he might not have. I know he killed people but you don't know for sure if they were totally innocent people. They could of tryed to pull a gun or shot at him. Who knows
Hey now...I actually AM related to Jesse James. Lol..thats why I searched his name on here. Ive been damn proud of it since I was 8 or so and learned about him.
My great, great, great, great grandmother on my mother's side was a hotel maid in Northfield Minnesota in 1876, when the James-Younger gang rode into town and tried to rob the Northfield Bank...she watched the entire shootout as it took place in the street below. Rich history - badass tune!
@TexasGun1911 dude thats awesome my grandma told me my great great grandma Bailey was one of his girlfriends when he was an outlaw. he would come to her house and she would do his laundrey and what not i think its the freakin coolest thing!lol

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

yea jese had a lot of dealings here in missouri i heard tales of caves down in southern missouri where he would hide out from the law men and what not
I live in Southwest Missouri. Jesse and the entire James gang spent some time around here. There are rumors of caves he stashed money in near Pineville. Truth be told, Jesse himself passed through my families farm many times.
@peachofahand I was looking through some old family pictures at my grandma's and I saw a piat looked like Jesse James. I looked online and found some picture of him and it looked just like him. And just to be more sure, I looked at ancestry.com and I found him on my dads side of family.
Thats really cool. Check this out. I'm related to Billy the Kid and my best friend is related to Sheriff Pat Garrett, the former friend of Billy who eventually killed him. weird huh?
