You just need snow tires. The problem is that when people see their bmw spinning out like this, they dont bother buying snow tires. As a result there is limited information/examples of how this care would accually handle in the snow.
is this with or with out snow tires? Chicago winters are brutal and I need to know if snow tires are worth buying or do I need a different car. We love our Z, but I'm not sure if snow tires will make it safe enough in snow.
my gf just got the z4 i am in toronto and with snow tires its bullet proof traction and stability control kill any unsafe decision a dumb driver makes, too fast is still too fast right. as for this vid it sucked balls. u can have so much more fun in a rwd german sports car this driver is just a moron.
loved driving the z4. more like a rocket than a car. Sadly, had to trade it in for a more reliable year round car. Z4 was dangerous/impossible to drive w/ snow, and even heavy rain. Researched led me to AUDI who makes the only 4 wheel drive convertible. We a very pleased with its quality, (still)fun and practicality of this new car. Thankful to have had the z4 experience. Life goes on!
