I didn't even remember it was Ninja Gaiden until much much later when I realized "Ryu Hayabusa" was this guy. XD

this soundtrack will be my favorite soundtrack until i die.

i didn't even forget a single note of these soundtrack in stage 3 since the last time i've played this game about a decade ago.

actually this game is like - beyond epic game of all time since the story, classic gameplay, and the ever-5star-sound tracks compared to other ninja games on this era.

I had this for gameboy. It is the only ninja gaiden game I can beat. I used to idle in this stage just to listen to the music. They just don't have video game sound tracks like this anymore. I don't care if music in games today are made with orchestras or real bands, nothing beats the bleeps and tones of the old school games. I never bothered trying the new 3D Gaidens cause I knew they'd have no relation to the original games. But does anyone know if they did a rendition of this stage's song?

Anyway, I thought Ninja Gaiden II: Dark Sword on NES was easier than the first one. I had a hard time to beat the last level in the first game. When I go back on the screen I get new enemies all the time which pisses me off.

Repetitive - yup, that's the nature of all the bosses in this game.

And it's irritating that their life is way longer than yours (like 9 to 10 times??) so it's just slashing and slashing and slashing after having already identified their patterns . Pretty boring.
