I haven't seen the opening for this game for a while, when i saw it just now, my face was the very definition of scared shitless. great game though, not as memorable as the first, or the third, but i still had fun.

Yeah the 2nd installment wasn't the best ost compare to the 1st. The 1st was by far the best one out of all the series. This just made it feel way to cartoonish.

Gameplay-wise, I liked it better than the first. Exploring different time periods was fine, but there were some seriously cool levels in here. Also, the guy from Pokemon was here :D, or so I thought at first. Later on, I realized it wasn't the same voice actor (and I know it's a woman who voiced Ash Ketchum now), but it was still neat at first, that they sounded so alike. The soundtrack is also fantastic. Of course, gameplay-wise, it really isn't superior to the third. That game is awesome.

@Gamechamp3000 Really? I thought I read somewhere that it wasn't the same actor/actress, and it was just a sound alike. Unless I'm thinking about Misty from Pokemon, and the actress for Natalie sounding like her. I know it was one of them. It's been a long while since I played the game, so I guess I was mistaken about that.

I liked this better than 1. Somehow I just didn't really relate to Spike that much. I think it was his voice (he sounded too old for what's supposedly a little kid). There were a lot more jokes in here too, which thrilled me. The problem with Ape Escape 3 is that they didn't really do the translation well. So you have the appearance of the jokes (Superman, Spider-Man, Vader, etc.) with names like Ukki-Monkey, and other stuff like that. It's not right. O_O It's a great game, but still...

everything is slow. Youtube is flash based (which is currently held up with mass uploading). I can't see what I'm typing without waiting a long time. not to mention that I have to keep going onto the official site. Find a way that doesn't use too much time. seriously, this took me like 3-4 minutes to type.

Actually, an Ape Escape remake would be something I wouldn't mind.

As long as they did something other than make it look prettier. That doesn't automatically make a remake necessary.

well just a graphics upgrade would work for me, Ape Escape was my favorite game on PS1, maybe a co-op mode then like for Spike & Jake? (if they did co-op mode they'd have to change the battle between Spike and Jake at the carnival.. but other than that idk what else could change.

lol yeah, for the whole game up till I beat it I thought that eventually Jake would be unlocked making it 2 player mode; needless to say I was a little sad when I found out you couldn't even pick him as an alternative.

Jake a playable character = Best hack ever. It's a shame I've never seen it done before. Still, I like the first Ape Escape more than the others. I guess I'm just into the old school look when it comes to ape escape. I don't like how their arms and hands look all stretched out in this one.
