I'm going nuts trying to find the really good vocals live version of Fortunate Son...Any help would be appreciated. He goes all out on the end of the song with the vocals and I just want to know if its on an album or not. Send me a message please if you know. It does sound like the ending on this one but much better singing/audio sound.
John Fogerty says that the song was indirectly inspired by David Eisenhower, the grandson of President Dwight David Eisenhower who married Julie Nixon, the daughter of President Richard Nixon in 1968.
Correct. David Eisenhower served in the U.S. Navy in the Mediterranean in the south of France during the Vietnam conflict. And Al Gore II was on photographic duty.
Best band ever !!!
