How can people leave what they are doing to go and demonstrate for a millionaire criminal? It beats logic really. They must be jobless youth who were paid to go there. It is no different fr from the thousands of Kenyans from all walks of life who are willing to risk their lives and hate their neighbours for corrupt politicians who are stealing from them, just because they happen to be born in the same tribe. As stupid as stupid can be!
@OneWholeKenya I would not call them stupid, but rather desperate. As Siasduni said, if the govt does not play its roll, other people step in. Naturally, if Sonko has shown that he is accessible to the people and capable of addressing their various social issues, they will support him. Who else has stepped in?
Poor leadership breeds corruption and tribalism, until we have real leaders, and are brave enough to support real leaders, we are in big trouble.

I don't support fraud but i think the guy should be given a second chance, if he has changed and not gonna hurt anyone, because he will be a bitter man if he loosers his seat and will channel his wrath to those who were involved,

If your guy has broken the law, he needs to answer to the charges in court. His fellow party people should shut up and let the courts do their job. This is the problem we have in Kenya. Everything is turned into politics, and the poor wanainchi get involved in this stupidity. Songo is living large, while his so called supporters don't even know where their next meal is going to come from. What a pity!
Mungatana your logic is flawed, the fact that the others have not been charged does not mean Sonko a known thug should be allowed to roam free. Secondly how many MP's do you know of that have broken out of jail while serving a sentence.......
