Sin actually had a mind and feelings because Jecht was the last Sin. He liked the Hymn of the Fayth remember? It's so sad when Jecht dies and Tidus cries.
That part is sad. Crono dies, yet he dies to protect his friends, as any main protagonist would do with his/her tag-alongs. Like Superman during the fight with Doomsday, or Jean Grey/Phoenix when she protected her fellow X-Men (I don't know how, though), or Captain America during the Civil War story-arc.
So did I. When I think about Lavos, it reminds me of Sin (FFX): A huge creature capable of destruction who's more of a victim since it's being used by peoples much more monstrous than itself.
Yeah it does, its a good thing I like a lot of the other characters too like Robo and Ayla. Crono does have Luminaire though at this point so sucks to lose him for now.

A piece of advice. Have Ayla with you as you try to stop Dalton. Ayla relies on her fists and that can save you big time.
