bertie ahern was and still is a political genius. I know that some aspects of his finances may appear suspect to some, but one cannot say for sure if this led to his resignation. He was getting on in age and constanly being put though tribuneral. Mr. Ahern is eventually forced to tell the tribuneral that he had won a rather large sum of moneys on the horses which in my opinion is his own business and knowbody elses. This may also explain his finances to those who are still suspect. ty
