This is original Punjabi, written in Arabic letters. Urdu (Pakistan's national language also is written in Arabic letters. Urdu is spoken in all across India, Pakista, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldeep, and other SAARC countries. Iran's Persian language also is written in Arabic letters. Urdu language is used in most of the Indian movies. Many Indian people do not know how to write and write Arabic letters, but almost every Indian speaks and understands Urdu language.

Man Mohan Singh is a Punjabi. I am sure he writes in original Punjabi (Pakistani Punjabi). Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan, both are Punjabis. Both were born in Pakistan. Pakistan's Prime Miniter was born in Pakistani side of Punjab. In 1984, Indian Punjabi Sikhs fought a war against India to break away from India but Indian army crushed the revolt and killed thousands of Sikhs. Some Punjabis believe Indian Punjab should join Pakistani Punjab.

This is Punjabi, written in Arabic letters. Pakistani Muslim Punjabis living in Pakistan use Arabic letters to write Punjabi, unlike Hindu and Sikh Punjabis living in India, who use Hindi or Sansikrat letters to write Punjabi. That language is called Gurmukhi, not Punjabi. Punjab state was divide into two, just as India was devided into two in 1947. Pakistani Muslim Punjabis are in majority (About 70% of Punjabi of total Punjabis living in India and Pakistan). Pakistani Punjabi is real Punajabi.

Sorry to say but this is not Punjabi.... for all of the multicultural events that the white house holds and the fact that the first state visit was from some one who is punjabi I would think you would get it right..... fail.
