I think this clearly shows that energy is not coming from the yellow toroid but from the surounding environment. Yellow toroid is only helping the other coils to receive energy. What do you think about that?
Don't forget, torroids are designed to keep all magnetic fields inside themselves, not to transmit them, You would probably get much better range from different types of coils.
