The irony is untolerable. To watch this video and then watch her try to negotiate a modification for her constituents on the "Maxine Waters Loan Modification" video. Does she get it? Does she get the irony in her actions? To hear her state "the average homeowner has virtually no chance of negotiating a loan modification on their own"...and yet do absolutely nothing about it after she defended the house bill? SERIOUSLY?

Raines pocketed 1.5 million by putting 10.6 billion dollars on the books but thats ok cause hes progressive.

She is such a crook, look at her history. Her family makes money from her position in government. The only time she isn't lying is when her lips arent moving. I wonder if her good friend Franklin Raines was one of those she is bashing for "suckering" people into bad loans. He walked away from Fannie Mae with $90 million - and was forced to pay a $25 million in fines for being found guilty of fraudelent accounting practices. He still has $70 million, pigs Franklin & Maxine.

As the Senate inches toward passage of a $300 billion bill to help homeowners facing foreclosure, a new Rasmussen Reports national survey shows that only 21% of voters think the federal government should provide such assistance.
