yo i found this click in a forum discussing ssr pit bikes, ive been trying to figure out what kind of motor i have, i know its 125cc ssr, i think a b2 several years old, says gongyu on the cylinder, ssr on the side cases, Ive found a few lifan motors and such online, and i htink the bolt pattern is right, what is the ssr equal too, honda cr?
yo i saw this link in a forum talking about ssr pit bikes, i have an ssr pit bike, not sure the exact model, ssr 125, says gongyu on the cylinder, not sure what motor it is, and i have transmission failiure, didnt rip it apart yet, but i was trying to find out what replacement motor i need, the mounts all look similar on lifans, im looking for a cheap replacement, think i have a B2 pro, maybe, i hope you can help.
Any motor designed to fit into the XR/CRF50 chassis will work in your application. Depending on your exact wiring setup it should be plug and play as well. Otherwise its simple to wire up your existing coil, CDI and kill switch to the new engine. Check out SGR-USA or Outlaw Powersports for deals on replacement engines.
Well you will get a varying opinions on this, but ALL pit bikes are dirt bikes, but not all dirt bikes are pit bikes. Genrerally speaking a pit bike is a (former) kids bike modified (suspension and motor) for adult use. They are generally based off of (Honda) CRF/XR50 or (Kawasaki/Suzuki) KLZ/DRZ110 frames/designs. They generally are also bikes with either 10inch or 12inch rear wheels and riden by full sized adults.
Well no, but it kinda defeats the purpose and is a bit of an unfair advantage in a racing environment. Pit bikes can be fun for all ages its just generally enjoyed by adults that modified "JR's" 50 or 110.
hey i was wondering why did outlawpowersports have 2 125c-3 on their web page but the price is different, do you know the differences between these two bikes?? please let me know becuase i want to buy the c-3 but would like to get the best one thanks dude :)
Contact Outlaw on the pricing (I don't work there) As far as the differences, The C3 has conventional forks and the C4 has inverted forks. Otherwise they are the exact same bike. The best deal going currently is the SSR125 SBA its on sale until supplies last. Contact Nate at OutLaw Powersports for details let him know "The Junk Man" told you ;)
