  • in Wilco we trust

  • @sellout87 Thanks for letting me know that my opinion was my opinion. You should have been a parrot!

  • I appreciative it. Although, it is quite boring.

  • @Moneyshotdrama7 well, thats just like......you're opinion man!!

  • is she a jar with a heavy lid because she's hard to get into?

  • @NickJohnRawson More or less. Someone who doesn`t open up much or has secrets. This song is about his wife Sue.

  • @NickJohnRawson interesting observation, i agree. what she though? his mother I would imagine.

  • For some reason, this song reminds me of the antithesis of Honey by Bobby Goldsboro.

  • The snare drum is annoying on this recording...

  • Is Tweedy on "the meds"? It's kinda obvious, right? I know Summerteeth was pulled off by him and Jay locked in a studio with painkillers and marital problems... whatever, it's f'ing amazing!

  • This is definitely Tweedy + Painkillers... no doubt

  • I'd put them in the same genre as Pink Floyd...F'n AWSOME!

  • 1998

  • who gives a shit what genre they are... this song is fucking amazing... one of their best imo... most emotional for me.

  • @mikeoxlong11 just watched an interview where jeff was saying the same thing... they do a lot of things, and with the plethora of genres they grew up on, how teh hell can you specify?! check it out

  • this is from glastonbury....do you have the full gig? i had it but lost it.

  • Wilco has always sounded almost countryish to me

  • They're sorta alt countryish I suppose

    Argh, genrefication is so difficult...

  • I agree, they don't really fit any genre

  • There's no doubt about it. Listen to Uncle Tupelo and you'll see where the alt-country comes from.

  • Jeff Tweedy is a genius.

If Wilco, Loose Fur, Golden Smog, Uncle Tupelo, or his guest appearence with The Minus 5 - everything he does is just wonderful.

  • of all periods of wilco, this is the one I most enviously wish I could of been a part of.

  • wilco is a modern day alternative/rock band, not quite classic rock.

  • 1999?

  • Nowdays, my favouryte song. music and lyrics... Wai wai, desde lolleria, vaya que sí!!

  • Lovely sentiment, Mr Tweedy and Mr Bennett wrote their best work together and now its not a discussion it is probably a fact!

  • so goood it also its a sort of revival of the music of 68. the mellow hippiestuff of the byrds for example. Or even pink floyd!!! what do you guys think about that?

  • Wilco is the classic rock of now, thats what I think

  • That's very right!! I'm very happy to see so many people who likes that songs from wilco, i feel glad to see theese people making music and someone else listening to them ( o sinos que vos penten, putes serdes o algo )

  • Si, perra, eu secunde

  • I think he still wears the same denim jacket.

  • I wish he did, his best stuff was written with Jay....

  • There are plenty of good Wilco and Loose Fur songs written with lots of different folks. However, Mr. Bennett -- God rest his soul -- definitely did some of his best work while working with Mr. Tweedy.

  • thank you for this video, a great song, ..
