I read a lot of quotes from the video in the comments... and i remember swimming back to shore thinking that i should watch the video first.... my father doesn't like me very much
@Curley27 Not really, he has clearly made a name for himself. It's not like he has any other outstanding quality about him that would otherwise make him famous.
@mrscottsquires Really like Stew, but Tim is king... watch "Carpool" with Tim Vine and Robert Llewellyn, where he's just doing one-liners off the top of his head in regard to what they're talking about in normal conversation, Stewart is amazing but I doubt he can do much out of his written/scripted work. "Tim Vine" on "Talent Cake TV" (some budget Australian crap) is also AMAZING, like I say the speed of the geezer's wit is untouchable. Take nothing from Stew though! Just my opinion :)
There are a few one-liner, sort of old-fashioned comedians out there, such as Jimmy Carr and Tim Vine, but Stewart Francis is by far the best. The others tend to make me cringe as much as anything.
omg I found him hilarious Ive never seen a Comedy act WITHOUT any kind of Story just sentence after sentence having nothing to do with the previous one xD
I've heard pretty much all of these before, but that doesn't matter. You can't really expect him to think of any new ones because they're all the best anyway. Besides, the way he delivers them is hilarious every time you watch them.
i find myself laughing out loud at many of his jokes but when i think about the joke afterwards i realise it's actually not funny at all, they just sound funny lol if that makes sence
I think the problem is that touring comedians aren't always designed for television; if you're on tour, the whole point is that you do a show, telling the same jokes each night (though obviously there is room for growth). To actually be constantly writing new material is incredibly difficult, so when comedians perform on various TV shows, it's very easy to work through everything you have very quickly, and this is especially true of a stlye like that of Stewart Francis.
@kumadance1991 You make a valid point Kumadance but at the end of the day,we here on youtube are treated ( free of charge ) to an abundance of entertainment and should all be grateful.
@Marleyman14: That is because when this guy is at the Apollo he is not appreciated as much as he is on Mock the Week and the reason for that is that the audience are less astute.
@Putte1: Wow, you need to get some new YouTube comments
I assume 'ThePutte' has never told the same joke twice. Stewart Francis is extremely funny and fresh. If I wrote only a couple of his one-liners, I'd trade on them for years!...xxx
I've seen this so many times and yet it never gets old. To all you haters who think he should get new material I could live with this lot my whole life. Stewart Francis rocks.
He actually did use some new jokes, towards the middle of the segment.
I actually think people should post less videos of him doing the same jokes and more videos of him doing different jokes. Maybe THAT'S the real problem.
@ThePutte1 a) It's hard to make up new jokes for every gig.b) Half of the jokes here, I haven't heard him say before. And I've seen him quite a few times
Am I the only one that actually read the uploaders name? Hilarious...
