I have such mixed opinions about this game. I like the Good Cop, Bad Cop system, however there are still things to be said about it. New York City is representated fairly accuratly, and the licensed soundtrack is good, even though it only consists of random great songs without them fitting the enviroment you play in much. The enormous amount of glitches and horrific voice acting are very annoying though.

It's better on the PS2, though still really bad. Cars bounce of obstacles, controls are clunky as fuck, it's never obvious what you're supposed to do, weapons are either way overpowered or way underpowered, there are way too many Ford Crown Victorias driving around the streets of New York, there are no New York landmarks in the game, etc, etc, etc. I could just go on and on.

if you stay in water too long, you die, and he doesn't know how to swim so if you glitch in the water during a mission, you are pretty much fucked, you have to start over from the beginning, I don't quite remember but I think there are checkpoints
