@ORCA4312 Seriously. I worked for the 2010 Census and there were times where we would be sitting for like 40 minutes with no calls so we would play board games. Well, guess what everybody wanted to play....after about three plays I was done. They continued to play this game for months and months and months. My favorite moment was when I told my friend who brought it that it was a good gateway game and he was like "whatdya mean"? I just shook my head in disgust......

But now since you're here I recently went to a board game event and played the board game version of Lost Cities that I believe came out in 2008 and I had a ridiculous amount of fun, wondering if you played that one yet and where you would place it on your list?

I love Lost Cities. The board game, not so much. It's not a bad game, it just lacked much tension at all - and had less strategy (more luck in card draws). It's okay, but wouldn't crack my top 500, let alone top 100.

I was hoping Memoir 44 and battlelore was way down on nr 80 or something, so I was really shocked when you have them on nr 6.

I find those 2 games more boring than boredom itself. You would think that after 2 hours of setting up just one game it would be fun to play out, but nooohooooo..... its all just 'lets see who can get RSI first from moving 200 plastic bits in insy bitsy steps towards the other player, and see who scores bingo first'... luck luck luck luck, and more luck.
