To get it to work on W7, go to control panel. Then click programs. Then under programs and features select Turn windows features on and off. Then find telnet client and telnet server. Select them. Select okay. You may have to wait for it to load. And then, wala, it will work, as will every telnet command. This works for XP too, i believe. Thumbs up if this works!

If u have vista or 7 it doesn't work they removed it.

only works on XP or earlier version of windows.

You're missing a thing.

The way you're doing it does only work on Windows XP. With Vista you have to do a thing before you start all that.
