yes, you can instead ;-) . It works on Vista because it's not a MS DOS executable. Comanche 3 and Armored Fist still run under DOS or Command Prompt on FAT32 systems.

Novalogic Comanche Gold needs MS Windows 95 or later to run. Then you can set up compatibility mode in executable or shortcut to, properties.

Comanche Gold is a Win32 exe, but C3 is for MS DOS Only. Comanche 3 doesn't work on Vista or 7. This game here does.

How did you manage to run this game under Vista? I tried it on Win7, and it tells program must be closed (tried the compability settings too)

I dunno, i managed it and it worked, despeite it was slower than other machines. However i've ended the authentication programs like TrustedInstaller or other internal applets running under Vista and system resources are now good and old games run fine on my Intel Pentium IV Single Core.
