Kobe has 5 Championship and a couple MVP's I believe. Kobe does shoot very similar to M.J. When I first saw Kobe play, I was amazed at how similar their shots were. They both finish strong at the basket. They both have master the fade away and hitting the mid-range and 3pt shot. Kobe is almost as good as Jordan. He'll never be better, because Jordan left the NBA for 1.5 yrs, came back and won 3 champioship. Kobe & Lebron will never do that. That is simply incredible. Jordan is the best, PERIOD.

Do you even remember or seen Michael Jordan in his prime, and this is back when MJ was all over the place which made me despise him. The guy could take over games at will with a scoring average of 30 points a game in the regular season and 35 points in the postseason. Well I have to admit, I'm biased and a huge MJ fan, so it's hard for me to think of anyone in his league. I have to disagree about the defense part. MJ had to go against eh bad boys of Detroit. They may not be as skilled, but they were rough! Refs didn't call it near as tight back then as they do now. No handcheck fouls, and hardly ever flagrants. MJ got abused, be he just kept on driving to the hoop. That's on area that puts him far above any player today.

The Rockets are way better then any team the Cavs have played in the playoffs so far, that;s a fact. The Rockets were being talked about as a team that could challenge the Lakers. The Cavs are yet to face any adversity in the playoffs. Come on, the Pistons shuffled their team for cap space and the Hawks are young and don;t have a "real" star or leadership. Lebron does some amazing things and will go down as one of the greatest to play, but he still hasn't won a title and got destroyed when he did make it to the finals. Do you even remember or seen Michael Jordan in his prime, and this is back when MJ was all over the place which made me despise him. The guy could take over games at will with a scoring average of 30 points a game in the regular season and 35 points in the postseason. Lebron is good, but he doesn't have MJ's quicks of the dribble, defensive ability, and sheer will to win a game himself.

When I watch Kobe Bryant today...Its just like watching Jordan back in the day(which I did a lot) Kobe and Jordan are two peas in a pod...same game, same size, same win at any cost attitude
That being said..I think Lebron is better than Kobe....so that means i think he beats out #23 as well

I can tell you with my experience from I what seen during my time, when it comes to sheer athletic ability MJ has Lebron trumped hands down.
for someone his size his athletic ability is more like Shawn Kemps.

Why was that team so good right now? Because of MJ. The supporting cast Kobe has right now is far better than any supporting cast MJ had, and Kobe is playing in a defensively weaker era. Imagine if MJ was in Kobe's position right now! The Lakers would finish with a record of 81-1!

Scottie Pippen was so overrated. Of course Rodman led the team in rebounds, it's all he coudl do. And don't ever ever put Durant in the same sentence as MJ. Watch the game where jordan scored 69 points against the Cavs. He had hardly eny help, his teammates were really bad. But he still led his team to victory over a determined Cavs team who needed that win and went all out. Watch it, you'll see how great MJ was.

Durant is so good you dont even know. hes just a sophomore. and look how great he is. this kid is gonna be good. but when Jordan played there wasnt as many good defenders and defense as there is now. back then there was no one like Dwight Howard. Scottie pippen is not overratted. you should watch some highlightson him. this is what i think Jordan was the best of his era and Kobe is this best at his era. and Lebron james is gonna be the next of his era. just leave it at that.

Well I have to admit, I'm biased and a huge MJ fan, so it's hard for me to think of anyone in his league. I have to disagree about the defense part. MJ had to go against eh bad boys of Detroit. They may not be as skilled, but they were rough! Refs didn't call it near as tight back then as they do now. No handcheck fouls, and hardly ever flagrants. MJ got abused, be he just kept on driving to the hoop. That's on area that puts him far above any player today.

last game (kobe made 49 pts) against the Suns but they lost thanks to him...
People simple dont care about the FG% he tried 38 shots(38 shots and he missed 20 shots) 20SHOTS missed...
Paul Gasol made 30 Pts in 18 shots attempted and he only missed 6 shots,,,
And of those 49 (10 were from the FT)...

Wrong...the rest of his team besides Gasol shot under 35%. Kobe picked up the slack. He still shot 48% for that game.
Jordan has done the same many times. Iverson too. Games like that are going to happen with perimeter players who take a high number of shots.

Not if Gasol doesn't want the ball or they can't get it to him. He was too busy getting pushed out of position by Shaq. Kobe is the only guy on the team who can consistently create his own shot against any opponent. That's why he takes the most shots, just like any elite shooting guard.
