Scott, this is a great exercise. But, could you put a few more videos about how to train at home with no weights? Something that make you feel that burn on your body. Like a full body exercise.
I'm a Soldier and in the Wtu, your exercises have had a significant roll in my wieght loss, due to the limited motions that I have, I can only due so much. I was wondering if you can make a routine for those injured in combat. Thank you for your time have a great day.
Could become easy (after awhile...); however when I tried this a few days back, after watching a youtube clip,
and did it myself, my triceps were sore for 3 days! I was asking myself whether I am using a correct form, since you can keep your hands and legs apart at various lengths.
I don't know if you've tried this yourself, but it you like it a video here would come in handy for everyone; I mean, it's been a very long time since I've gotten muscle soreness like that.
Hey Scott. Thanks for the awesome videos! I have a questions. I've been doing high intensity jump training and I've incorporated burpees to my workout, but recently my left BIG TOE has gone numb! Now I'm afraid when I do burpess or jumping exercises because I can feel a numbing sensation all over my big toe. My left big toe is also starting to tingly as well. Anyways, all of this is because I want to ask you, what shoes do you recommend for stability and performance when it comes to jumping?
@ScottHermanFitness Thanks for taking the time to read my comment. I have an appointment this Wednesday and I'm staying off the high impact training for a while. Hopefully it's just my shoes (I'm flat footed) and nothing too serious.
@20jaime10 I've been a health care professional for over 10yrs + i would highly recommend you seek the opinion of a podiatrist if your above problem has continued or worsened.
@JayHektik Thanks for the recommendation, I have an appointment tomorrow. But since I've stopped my workout routine about 4 days ago, I'm starting to feel my toe, just a bit though.
@fitrainer1 Thanks for the recommendation. I'll be looking in on the tennis shoes. I used the Nike Free Run 2+ shoes, and I have to admit they're quite tight on me, mainly because a bigger size leaves a ton of space in the back of my heel or in the front of my toes.
How do you build your abs outwards? In a way so your body has the more natural square type shaping/tone, unlike the people with triangle shaping and look like there confined to gyms/steriods all day long
For toned abs= aerobic, toning exercises like the one in this vid, for big abs= just like you would train any other muscle for hypertrophy (6-12 reps, 2-5 sets, 60-90 seconds on and off, high weight, etc)

What's your view on Skull Crushers done in a park? (no dumbells needed).
There can be quite a few variations and I'l like to see expert opinions on what works best.
I'm talking about doing them on a low height pull up bar and such.
Cheers

I always do my Burpees with a push-up when in the push-up position. Adds even more to the whole body exercise!

@20jaime10 you may have pinched your s2 nerve or your shoes are to tight.
wear workout shoes that are stable, shoes made for tennis are great!
