all of the countries who have developed in reality are the ones who kept their education system in their own languages. Germany, France, China, Japan, America are living examples. i think if chinese channel makes fun of their people for not speaking English their govt would at least close that channel. we are forced to learn English because we are hypocrite as nation. learning english is not something of proud but it reminds us about our failures and of our forefathers.

I'd like to say few things, first english is not the measure of education. but as its the international language, its given the importance. I do agree it was just like making fun out of those politicians to ask them to speak english, knowing that they can't speak english very well or not at all.

But the politicians are representative of people. They should speak properly whether its english, urdu or any other language. I've talked to sakina shaheen khan, believe me she can't speak properly.

Our national language is urdu and we should be proud to speak that language. I think channel 5 should go to england and interview the British memebers of parliaments in urdu.
