I agree, humans aren't more special than other living things. There is no reason why humans would be the only one's to have a spirit (consciousness or whatever you wish to call it). Without a spirit pets and other living things would be no more alive than toys. An earthworm for instance may not be able to do anything besides following its compulsion to eat dirt but why assume it isn't experiencing the pleasant warmth and moistness of the soil and being comforted by it's diet of fertile earth.

Maybe in the distant future when humans have god like powers that could be changed ^^, or find a practical way to move the dog forward in time while you are not with it :)

musicislife your an ass hole. Such self absorbed arrogance makes think that we are the only ones capable of going to heaven. My dog was more loyal, loving, accepting and righteous than almost any human. Who are you to decide she isn't good enough to go to heaven? Just cause you think she can't repent or know Jesus? How the hell do you know? My guess is she is more perfect than I and she already knows Jesus which means she doesn't have reason to repent. Peace.

Your right everyone does do stupid stuff and needs to repent (I hate religion and the prejudice racist people that populate it's doors but I believe in God). But it's the arrogant self adoring attitudes of man kind (particularly fundies) that think that we are the only ones deserving of Gods grace and love. Please. Attitudes like this are arrogant and selfish. n you saying your selfless cause u are a witness and don't believe in works? Don't give the hungry a dollar, give them a bible good job.
