This song resonates into deeper and deeper depths and then into the greatest heights through the universe. He was born and raised in Brooklyn. Holly Holy was his only child who died. She comes in his dreams and he runs because the pain of her is too much for him. His songs are about his dead only child at that time.

@lapspd Yes. He was the son of a Jewish family and was born and raised in the Bronx. Did you ever see the movie called the Jazz Singer? If you can, google it. Its the story of his life in the bronx and his fights with his family over his music. He was shunned from his family because he wanted to sing his own music and they wanted him to do only religious music.
