  • Doesn't sound like the guy in the TT Vette knows how to down shift.

  • OK joshuamclure or whatever below, you sir are a moron. You should not comment on anything with engines if you have never heard of bore or stroke. 05 vetts came with an ls2, this one is either a bored and stroked ls2 or maybe ls3. Do research before you speak noob.

  • beast

  • gotta love the sound of aspirated engines!!

  • drool....

  • god your car is amazing.... is that flat black?

  • So help me if anything happened to the Corvette I'd go into a seizure of rage. I'd be the only person with a Corvette who would go the speed limit or slower because I don;t want anything to happen to it. That and I don't like speeding.

  • @OceanbornAngel But what's the point of buying a Corvette if you're not going to go fast?

  • @Olskoolbeats Maybe this is my femininity speaking, but for me the point is having a hot looking car that I can baby and wax all day long, not drive like a maniac in.

  • @OceanbornAngel I see where you're coming from, but it seems kind of pointless to me to spend 50K+ on a high powered sports car and not drive it fast.

  • @Olskoolbeats I guess from my perspective it seems rather pointless to buy a car for that amount of money and then total it because you were too dumb by driving it too fast. I do not feel the need for speed. I'd rather show of my hot corvette driving the speed limit so people can actually see it and can see me smiling.

  • i like how people think they know about cars and what engines are in them. never heard of a bore, stroke, taller heads, etc apparently. for all we know that fucker could have an lt1 in it. but i guess we can tell by the sound right? lol.

and the fact that the "information" is in the description doesn't make a difference at all. i could upload a video of a camaro and say it has a 454, and you'd never be the wiser for it if you never saw under the hood.

  • Guys if its an 05 then its a ls2 if its just a 403ci its been bored out a bit but an ls7 is a 7.0L meaning 427ci so you guys see where this is headed. For future reference ls6 was gen corvettes.

  • sounds like a toaster

  • I like how people are here asking if its LS6 or LS7, if you dont know these things then dont speak

  • @codo27 Right because you can just learn things without ever asking a question. Fucking stupid people these days.

  • @codo27 Get over yourself, you arrogant fuck.

  • Dear Santa....

  • beast

  • Ls6? Ls7?

  • WTF !! WHAT A FUCKING NASTY,SEXY VETTE MAN !

< this viewer is fucking the monitor.

  • Comment removed

  • Didnt your mom tell you not to fuck with Corvettes??

  • This Corvettes all Japanese now

  • is it bad that i had a chub after seeing/hearing this? jw

  • Sounds mean!!!! Chills....sexy vette

  • sounds like a fucking spaceship that shit spools quick

  • Damn that's a sexy 'Vette!

  • sounds like a fuckin batmobile lol

  • is that a matte finish ? on the black vette?

  • @jaytheo510 it might be matte, but if not, then its satin black. which is a semi gloss black. Pretty much matte black with a hint of gloss. It actually will last longer and age much better than matte and you get pretty much the same look.

  • @need2speed94 well w.e it is, it looks so sexy. haha. nice vid !

  • Goddamn!

  • the lines on that beauty are amazing

  • Where is the jet ?! :o

  • wow

  • This is CRAZY RETARDED!!! GOOD SHIT!!!

  • That's hands down one of the best looking, and sounding vettes I've ever seen.

  • Monstrous. Beautiful. It's beauty AND beast.

  • id expect a conversation with Darth Vader to sound something like this

  • God damn some people with american cars are so ignorant. Its no wonder why you guys get no damn respect from the euro and jap tuning communities. Besides the fact you guys already have big v8's and force induct them and a small FI engine can keep up with them. P.s its not hard to link somebody to a video on another site, that doesent prove squat. Grow up

  • if you dislike this video the you are probably into japanese so fuck you

  • USA BAY!!!!!!! AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!

  • uh camera car supercharged!!!!!!!!!!

  • anyone know what color is on that vette? it dosnt look like the usual matte black

  • @edawgyoniga its called sexy

  • 28 people drive fords or tuner pieces of shit

  • Awesome my dads mustang has that same kit and it growls badass car it runs 1130s in the quarter

  • I love that flat black look on that vette... sexy.

  • oh my godd..i am speechless

  • Oldsmobile Jetfire Turbo Rocket V8!

    jalopyjournal.c0/\/?p=12444

  • Turbos will soon become a basic component of every engine. There is no downside to them except weight, which is made up for in the boost created. They will continuosly be improved by being made smaller, more efficient, and cheaper...just like they're doing with jet engines. I have a boner.

  • @isuav8r234 Heat is a major problem with turbo chargeing.

  • whats making that sexy ass hissing sound?

  • @JayP3012 ...the compressors spooling up in 2 rear-mounted turbos on the corvette. it works kinda like a tiny jet engine to shove more air into the intake...hence the "hiss". most turbos are mounted up front near the engine, but corvettes have VERY little room to work with in that compartment and STS discovered a way to mount them in the rear and still maintain high boost, even though it has to send all the air all the way back to the front of the car where the engine is.

  • @isuav8r234 is it like a anti-lag setup in a way? Seems like it would take a while to build boost over that long of charge pipes.

  • @isuav8r234 i say a car show they installed a turbo in a vett had to take rear bumper off tire to run the tubeing nice

  • @isuav8r234 saw

  • @isuav8r234 really? :o what about the lag? does it worth it ?

  • @isuav8r234 it also helps with cooling the turbos...long way from the back to the front tho!

  • rolling ART is what that is, SON! sts is THE SHIT!!

  • Taka dobra jakość obrazu i dźwięku a kadr spierdolony. Zamiast podnieść kamerę wyżej to lusterko nagrywał. Szkoda ;(

  • AMAZING SOUND

  • 0:18 ... Coolest Fucking Sound ever

  • @TackDr1ver My ears still orgasm to this..

  • @TackDr1ver thank you. superchargers are beautiful <3

  • Man, that is one baaaaaad pain job, never seen a flat black. I like it. Sick!

  • i heard if u TT a vette u will blow the engine. is that true?

  • @IFreakingEatPeople Yes thats true. Twin turbo charging a corvette will make it explode like in the movies

  • @IFreakingEatPeople No. Whoever told you that knows less about cars than you do. Having said that, regardless of what engine you are going the forced induction route with, if you try to force too much boost without supporting mods, you're going to do some damage.

  • @IFreakingEatPeople Hahaha, NO! Who ever told you that is either a liar or total noob!

  • the sound reminds me of two bears fighting

  • Wow...how about we all watch and year the sts vette video? Sounds amazing!!!!

  • If you want to beat a vette you better buy a car made in another country

  • not too impressed im sure its fast but where do we see that in this vid? i own a vette and urs is nice as fuck but i wanna see a real pull

  • Comment removed

  • no it wont smoke a GTR, the vette wouldnt get any traction with the turbos....

  • @DeathJr2006 /watch?v=OZlGMX8G3B4

  • @DeathJr2006 at least someone on here knows what they are talking about

  • I'm not a American muscle guy buy this is pure bad ass

  • them nazi's made the first turbo cars....

  • i wish i could afford one of these for my truck

  • beautiful car

  • american muscle meets import technology... YOU'RE WELCOME

  • @chrislsarac Import technology....? Are you aware that GM produced the first turbocharged production cars, back in the 1960's?

Try doing some research on the GM Y body. The Chevy Corvair Monza Spyder, and the Oldsmobile Cutlass Jetfire, to be more specific. The first two production cars to ever offer a turbocharged engine. Even Porsche didn't get into turbos until more than a decade after GM.

  • @kcole939 GM was also the first manufacturer to mass produce electric cars about 20 years ago but destroyed all the proto types because it wouldnt have been profitable at the time

  • @kcole939 Are you aware that duesenbergs had turbos, and much before the 1960's?

  • @kcole939 now thats what i im talkn about some one on here who knows there shit thank you!!!! and long before they where straping turbos on there civics gm had a turboed trans am, the buick t type, gmc cyclone and typhoon and im shur some more that I am leaving out

  • Mercades benz class s was first

  • @thepurpletuce Lol, no it was not. The S class didn't have a turbo slapped on them until the 3.0 inline 5 turbo diesel in 1978. GM Y body was first, do the research. 1962 was the year any production car offered a turbocharged engine, and it was from GM.

Now I did go with some real import technology, on my Mustang. Centrifugal supercharger was patented by Louis Renault in 1902. I have a Vortech V1 waiting to go on my daily driver, T56 6 speed swapped '01 GT.

  • You are an avid googler. I doubt you are going to supercharge your car. I know a dozen kids who say they will, but nobody ever seems to get around to it. Your car's gearbox, intercooler, steering, exhaust and computer are not prepared for a supercharger.

  • @thepurpletuce You're an idiot, lol. The supercharger is already bought. I'm getting my suspension straightened out, throwing a new catback on it, and then the supercharger install is coming. I'm installing some caster camber plates to get it aligned properly since it's lowered, throwing Borla Stingers on it first..

I'll finish this over a private message, and make you feel like an absolute fool. Just because YOU don't have the means, doesn't mean I don't. I DO.

  • I will now expose you as a fool. You, by being in this conversation have proven that you are petty and spend your free time daydreaming about cars. You ramble about what you have the means to do, then prove it. Make me eat my words with any evidence. I tried to find some on your channel... if your ride is as great as you think, you would figure it would be backed up. Man up and show me something. If not, then as far as the internet is concerned, I am god without proof.

  • @thepurpletuce Shouldn't have been so quick to reply. GO CHECK YOUR MESSAGES. I just sent you a shit load of pictures. Pictures of the car it's self, pictures of my Vortech supercharger, a picture of my T56 6 speed, my project Z28, other random parts.

I just showed you PLENTY. Now go eat your words, you fool. Took me a while to type all that up too.

  • @kcole939 is that really relevant? The germans invented the turbocharger orrigonally for diesels. They took that and threw it at a production car. I havent seen them produce another turbo charged car at all sence after 2000. Mabye im missing somthing, but just because they were the first to put it on a production car doesent mean they invented it, or were even the first to put it on a regular gas powered engine.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Sure is relevant. Seems like on EVERY video of a fast American car, someone wants to bring imports into it. Mention how they're more gas efficient, more technologically advanced, i.e. in this case, turbochargers.

GM was the first to use the technology on a production car however.

And lol, I linked this purpletuce kid up with pictures of my '01 Mustang, it's Vortech supercharger, 6 speed trans, just as he said he'd expose me as a fool. Shut him up quickly. I love Youtube!

  • @kcole939 So because they were the first to use it on a productino car proves what? Like I said its not jap technology it was the europeans. Im not bashing on you, but just because GM was the first to put it on a production car doesent prove anything. Mabye if it was the fastest turbocharged production car that was affordable and realistic. Why even mention your mustang? once again it proves nothing. I know many people with built cars that dont know anything about their car.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Thing is, you're coming into the middle of something between me and another person, I guess looking to put your valuable opinion out there.

If someone makes the best gun in the world, and doesn't use it, what's that prove? Nothing.

As for not knowing anything. The car was bought nearly stock. Bought as just a 5 speed GT with a cold air intake..... I must know a lil' sumtin'. Why don't you just step away from the internet, it'll be alright. It's over now.

  • @kcole939 GM used a turbo charger for a completly different reason during the oil crisis because it was energy efficent. in 1974 porsche introducted the 911 turbo which was the first production sports car with a turbo. It was in 1885 that the first turbo charger was used on an internal combustion engine. So if you want to get technical the sweeds invented the turbo charger and got it patented in 1905. If you actucally knew as much as you acted like you did then why would you have a car that

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr GM was still into turbos more than a decade before that, in 1972. So, that's irrelevant. This isn't about who invented it, it's about who used it, and Americans got to slapping a turbo on a production car first. 12 years before a maker as great as Porsche, that says they were thinking a little.

Now I know how annoying I was when I'd do like 4 long comments at a time. You're like a nagging wife. GM used turbos way back in 1962. First. Bam. Interweb argument over.

  • @kcole939 is supercharged, know that there are many more benefits of turbocharging a car vs supercharging it.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Hey re-re. The Mustang is my daily driver. Do you think I care whether or not I have 430 or so HP @ 8 PSI with a Vortech blower, or if I can break 500 crank HP with a turbo at similar boost levels? Do you want me to send the message I sent purpletuce?

My project car will see a turbo 6.3 at some point, AKA 383 stroker. Talk about the benefits then. The Camaro is all torn down right now, engine pulled, awaiting a build.... I think over 400 horsepower in a DD is plenty.....

  • @kcole939 hey re-re sence when did supercharging a car make it more reliable or make the engine more efficent? it has nothing to do with hp at all you fucking idiot. Nobody in their right mind would supercharge their daily driven car haha. you sir are a joke.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Is that why people daily drive Cobalt SS's? Cars that came from the factory with superchargers, then turbochargers? Is that why people daily drive 03-04 Cobras? Another car that came factory supercharged, and that one underrated at 390 HP?

03-04 Cobras have roughly 410-430 BHP stock. My engine is capable of 430 @ 8 PSI with a stock 3.6" Vortech pulley.. I don't have the same forged internals as a Cobra, but it's a safe number for daily driving. It's been proven past 100K.

  • @kcole939 your so retarted its unbelievable. You cannot comprehend anything at all. This conversation is over...fuckin retards these days.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Lol, keep rambling. You said the conversation was over, then typed three more long comments, you're like a nagging wife.

Once and for all, the GM Y body was the first turbocharged production automobile. It's a fact. You lose, I win. Nanny nanny boo boo.

  • @kcole939 I never said it wasent a fact. It bothers me when people with a case of stupidity more than you are allowed to live. The didn't invent the turbo...and they werent the first to put it on an internal combustion engine. Its not like they had anything to do with inventing anything. There idiots...just like you!

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr "There idiots...just like you!"

As you can't even decipher "they're" "there" or "their" from each other, lol. You're a joke man. I actually know my shit with cars, and do it, not talk about it. This is why Youtube has gone to shit. Except for the small percentage of legitimate car enthusiasts out there, it's nothing but a bunch of trash talking kids like you, who pretend to own 2jz Supras.

That's what this was over, that turbos are not just import technology. You lose.

  • @kcole939 I didnt know this was an english class on youtube. Like I said you claimed I said shit about mercedes...I didnt say shit about merc. You said the turbo charger is american technology. I was correcting you as in its sweedish technology. Thats a fact. Your just trying to change the conversation off the main topic. THE SWEEDISH INVENTED THE TURBO AND WERE THE FIRST TO PUT IT ON AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION END OF STORY. Your just a little faggot in his sweet ass mustang that doesent know shit.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Keep thinking what you want. You're a kid who barely grasps English.. You're in NO position to bring it down to insults. You lose, I win. Get over it....

  • @kcole939 Who made this a god damn english class? Im not at work I can spell how ever the fuck I want. So you still havent answered the question and havent provided shit. Shut the fuck up, americans had nothing to do with inventing the turbocharger at all.

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Lol, hey, believe what you want. I guess Garrett has done nothing at all to innovate the turbocharger. As if there aren't dozens of big single Supras running GT47 Garretts.. You could take one of the first Swedish turbochargers made and make 1K+ HP with them in your silly mind, lol. Once it was invented, THAT'S IT, can't be improved.

    You're an idiot..

  • @kcole939 This guy is an idiot, talking about mercedes when I never mentioned them at all before. Sweet GM was the first to put a turbo on a production car. They did NOT invent the turbo, and were not the first to put it on an internal combustion engine. There for like I was saying all of this time, it doesent mean jack shit. Stop talking about your pussy ass mustang I didn't ask..I DONT CARE. You guys should read the pm's he sent me. Its amazing he even got out of highschool...

  • @kcole939 "No, you replied to me because you THOUGHT that the turbocharged S class Mercedes of the 1970's were actually the first. Where in reality, GM was first, then came Porsche, and then Mercedes as far as the bigger names go. I'm sure some others probably got into turbos during the 70's."

can you believe this guy? I never said shit about mercedes. This guy is pure troll and noob. Why bring up cobalts? There the gayest car of all time. Its like a cav z24...why would you own one or mod one?

  • @kcole939 I guess you cant accept the fact the the sweeds invented the turbocharger, and were the first to put it on an internal combustion engine. Thats the damn facts.

  • @kcole939 you have a supercharged v8 as a daily driver. What part of that makes it a good daily driver? You prove nothing and are an uneducated 13 year old that went to cars and coffee with daddy once and think you know shit about cars. Got new's for ya, anybody in the car community with half a brain know's that what you say and do are the dumbest things in the world. Why would you want a manual, shitty gas millage, no luxury, shitty interior, rwd pony car for a daily driver. Piss off

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Because I have a set, unlike you. I daily drive the thing in traffic, with a 26 spline T56 6 speed, 3.73 gears, and a Centerforce DFX clutch, and still get over 20 MPG. I've gotten a high of 28 MPG during a longer trip where I was able to leave the cruise control on, roughly 100 miles.

    I'm 13? Lol. Someone's mad.

  • @kcole939 my daily driven infiniti is worth more than your whole garage...

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr You mean *A* infiniti, not yours. You can't even get your age straight. Profile says 24, you say 28, and I've got the idea that you're 16-20. Maybe younger, but I'm being realistic.

I see you favorited a video of a turbo Infiniti. See, I don't have to favorite videos of Vortech supercharged Mustangs. It's a reality. You have fun with being a pretender. I shut purpletuce up real quick, and I shut you up. Now you just resort to personally attacking me. What a lack of taste.

  • @kcole939 your the one that has to resort to attacking anything you can at me, because at the end of the day im right and your wrong. Who takes the time to fill in every little detail in their profile? I clicked year went all the way to the top without scrolling and clicked on it. I didnt know favoriting videos had any affect on reality, somthing you seem to not be in. You didn't shut anybody up. Purpletuce is a retard but is smart deciding not to waste his time arguing with a "youtube badass"

  • @crzygutrsnobrdr Alright, Mr I make 180K a year. Lol. Everyone on Youtube is rich, has all these great cars, and morally and in general, better people. All while hiding behind a Youtube account with a fake age, no proof of anything.

Cool story bro! The guy who I was originally discussing this with was mature enough to compliment my Mustang, and apologize for calling me out. Guess you're not at that level yet.

  • @kcole939 Even tho that may be true, the first forced induction system was developed in Sweden, long before the 60s and even so what the OP was getting at was that, FI is more commonly used on imports nowadays than domestics (which is an ignorant statement still, but...you know)

  • @GenjiSama91 I completely agree with you there, of course turbos are much more widely used on imports now. But, the technology does not belong to any single group of cars.

Although once you get into the aftermarket, an absolutely huge amount of domestic cars are running FI setups. I know of two guys who have ran their centrifugal supercharged Mustangs past 150,000 miles, making nearly 400 RWHP on stock internals. That's another reason why I followed that route and picked up a Vortech.

  • @GenjiSama91 exactly. I wasent the OP but still. Kcole939 thinks because GM was the first to produce a factory turbo charged car that they were the first to put it on a car in general...WRONG

  • there is things in life make you feel like having sex, this is one of them

  • If God had a car.. it would sound like this..

  • To bad gas is just getting to high to drive these cars.

  • @Rich3862 27 mpg is pretty damn good

  • @Rich3862 If you can afford to own cars like these and have the money to put twin turbos in them, I'm pretty sure gas prices aren't a factor for these people! lol

  • @lHustonProductionsl It was figurative dude. But obviously you at least understood what I meant.

  • damn one sounds supercharged and the other sounds twinturbo....which is faster?

  • looks and sounds like the most fun ever. . .

  • @lHustonProductionsl There is not a thing in the world you can do to make THAT ricey, ever. Unless of course you feel like taking the following steps: Paint it a bright neon color, replace all exterior with aftermarket .5" clearance body kit, get 22"+ fake chrome rims, put in an I4 of <150 hp and <2.5L, make if FF drivetrain, throw on every bolt on known to man for that extra 200 hp you calculated out, and drive it aroudn with a blown head gasket cause you thought it could handle the turbos psi.

  • @lHustonProductionsl No, just no.

  • i would murder someone for a car like that.

  • A TURE AMERICAN LEDGEND SWEET VETTE

  • STS is fucking crap...had it on my SRT-8 jeep...

  • @mrhondacivicsi the principle behind them just doesn't facilitate good boost numbers or response times

  • APS > STS

  • sts sucks if you know anything about cars and turbos and appreciate the true american v8 muscle sound then thumbs up

  • F U C K

  • sts turbo kits are a good way to ruin the sound of a v8 as shown in this video, if you want that sound buy a rice burner and put that kit on there dont ruin the sound of american muscle

  • @cbeck611 ok then you can have your slow ass vette

  • @IamTheStev what are you talking about i dont have a vette are you high

  • @cbeck611 wtf! lol i can still hear that v8 power over comeing through. IMO it adds a lil somthing to it and i fucken hate ricers too

  • that is my favorite car in the world.i say its perfect

  • damn what kind of rims are those on the black vette?

  • super sharp looking vette!!!

  • that sounds so fucking gay. What king of faggit puts a turbo on a muscle car. I don't care if it makes it a little faster, the turbo sounds fucking lame. Supercharger is what makes it sound like a real muscle car.

  • @sobobaskin Your an idiot. You probably wouldn't put a turbo on a muscle car because you cant afford a turbo OR a muscle car. Sell your honda and save for something that will get you laid.

  • @DrumV1 if you need a car to get laid ur in serious trouble

  • dam bro dat vette sound lk a dam DEMON

  • muffler turbos are no use at all

  • The C6 could easily spool a big ass turbo. Almost no lag :D

  • @Razor4ever STS kits are laggy and suck ass even on an LS7. He should have went with an APS or TTiX kit.

  • @kageryu311 Yet AGAIN, another kid on youtube car channel you think he knows what he is talking about. STS kits have NO LAG.

infact it produces FULL FUCKING BOOST AT 3000rpm

stop acting like you know what you are talking about kid. You'll just make yourself look bad. and stop lying to others

  • @flawns STS kits lag and are unreliable because the tubo is so far from the motor. Try this, drive in a car with an APS TT kit and one with an STS kit and you will see a big difference. Hell to make it easier look at the dynosheet of an engine mounted turbo kit and an STS turbo kit. I love turbos but STS is fucking garbage.

  • @kageryu311 Neit, my friend (in russian for no)

you seem to be relentless on information you dont know about. Go to STS's website and you'll understand why there is NO lag because how the setup is run with piping...

  • @flawns I know this from personal experience dude. HP for HP with similar traction a Z06 with a front mounted turbo will always beat a rear mounted turbo. Its a good option if you want a cheap turbo kit but the Majority of serious drag or street racers use front or exhaust mounted turbo kits.

Reason: The air flows quicker when the turbochargers are closer to the motor and the source of air intake. Therefore you make more power and torque earlier in the powerband. Also all turbos have lag...

  • @flawns Lag is not noticable on a high displacement V8 because of the torque its alread creating. Lag is more noticable in a V9 when you eclipse the 1000whp range or use an STS turbo kit lol.

I love turbos but STS kits are fucking trash. If anyone here is thinking about getting an STS turbo kit either buy a centrifugal blower for the same price or save up some more money and get a quality turbo kit.

  • Sexiest vette so far

  • I hate vets, but that flat black sure makes that one sick...

  • O M G

    This lady so sexy

    but

    she can fuck u

  • Sounds like shit.

  • @FordGarbage ...faggot

  • @jonnyjb69 Hahahahaha. Good one loser.

  • did you guys have to add the z06 scoop in front of the rear wheel?

  • That Ma4uka Iz BuTT NaKed...
