@22ness0hayden its the nature of the theme. i suppose you could always bite the bullet and simply download a gtk theme that matches your qt theme. the curve theme is pretty good :S
I'm using KDE4 and firefox installed from the repositories. How can I auto - associate file types with applications so Firefox doesn't ask me to "Open With...." all the time?
@grThetrojan01gr click the file, and click "open with" and find the program you want to open it with in /usr/bin, and then once youve found the program you want to use, check the "remember my choice" option.
yep. i use firefox solely for that reason. once the useragent is changed to firefox, everything pretty much works the same (maybe konqueror is a tad slower, *shrug*) but the lack of add ons is stopping me from using any other browser.
this was done without the gtk-qt-engine installed. if you install that along with the kde4-oxygen gtk theme, you should get any of the remaining glitches. well okay, not ALL of the remaining glitches (for example, the glitch in the new user agent window is still there), but hey, its better than using konqueror :D
your save/load diaglog still looks like GTK?

The reason it's called Shiretoko is because it has no official branding as a source build, and it is still seen as firefox by websites etc. AFAIK.

oh. haha *shrug*

You can also user firefox-branded, to overcome all these problems.
Personally, I use the QtCurve theme, witch exists in KDE and Gnome.
So, I select it in KDE and in Gnome with gtk-chtheme, and works like a charm!
