@TotalRandomWeirdWord@TotalRandomWeirdWord Yeah, you should have ;) Conlanging is pretty awesome and it's not hard after you get some experience. What was your language like?
@Vellf Well, I didn't get very far. I had all the letter sounds planned out and I had a few simple words like hello, goodbye, yes, and no. I was only in fifth grade, though. I'll probably continue, because I have a book to write about a girl that lives in a small civilization in the middle of the Himalayas with its own language. I do remember a few Octochubian words, though.
small was itig.
word was wazoo.
i think yes was yu.
I made more, but I can't remember any other words.
@TotalRandomWeirdWord I see. Nice work, though. Creating languages is really fun. Your book sounds like it's a pretty good stuff, too, I hope you get it published :) I started conlanging because of a book as well.
(I'm just wondering but ... I'm part of an online project called ConPlanet, we create countries and work with our languages there, and if you think you'll find it interesting, maybe you could check it out?) =)
The language looks pretty systematic, which is fantastic. Can I ask if you've based it on another language, or how you managed to go about creating it?
the lyrics in my conlang : Vat nae du To mem sha, ni minta Vat niv gaumu To mem kau, mari ni So nae kil, shime hil In gimael Ve tim gaumel To sheta mikh mi Gaiti me dji, so bine gaie daki Gaiti me dji, teva am fumir lir Nae gari Vat nae am tim shani Gaiti me dji Ve ma-nei bine de
No way! I've made up my own language as well. This is wonderful. I didnt think there were other people like me, haha. My language is called Dhònhëdu and I've translated a LotR song before. lol... *adds you as a friend*
I should have continued.

I was working on a language called Octochubian. I quit, though. It was hard.

I really like your conlang. Are you still developing it? I would like to construct my own language. Are there any good sites or books that can help?

It looks fancy. I'd love to actually hear it.
Hearing this song in it would be awesome, haha.
