@time2moveit :Wow to live in Gambia! I'm still bummed how I missed my chance to go to Guinea. I had booked my ticket, got yellow fever vac., about to apply for visa & was going to do dance camp for a month, when unfortunately a huge civil protest took place &many people got killed (this happen 2 December's ago). This then led to the over through of the gov. and military rule. I believe it's a bit more stable but they keep trying to hold democratic elections.Someday I will get to live my dream!
What exactly is the title and artist? I love your African dances, but have
a hard time finding the music...so I can't use them in class! :-)

You need to look for West African Drum Rhythms. A great CD is "Wongai, Let's Go" and it has tons of rhythms as well as this specific rhythm, "Sofa".
Good luck! Thanks for enjoying!
