@PaleyDaley I wonder if the idea of eyes muscles and blinking etc... is the right approach. I think that the 'dead eyes' problem is more likely to depend on some 'undefinied inner eye shine' that can not be recreated artificially. What do you think of that ?
@avelione You certainly have a point. At the moment the eyes are just shiny opaque spheres with a texture applied. A much more realistic model for the eye with better shape and multiple layers would make a large difference. However, I don't think that it's totally impossible to recreate artificially, what with the amazing flexibility of GPUs. And there are amazing techniques to render stuff like that.
@PaleyDaley Well.. You are the expert. I don't know much about rendreing techniques, but do you really think that the secret of that human eye sparkle is really achievable ?? I would like to see that, because.... what we can see in the eyes I very much reflection of our character, intrlligence, experiences and soul. Can that be artiffically recreated only just by playing with multiple layers and light ?
@avelione Yeah, 'dead eyes' is a general problem when trying to make CG humans. The idea was to use the program as a platform for trying to make the eyes 'not dead'. To experiment with blinking, gaze direction, saccading, eye muscles, etc. Unfortunately the project never got very far. I hope one day I can revisit it and try to get a little further.
It telepathically told me it would eat my face if I looked away.

Yes, it's realtime. Makes heavy use of the GPU.
She has a large jaw and thick neck because she is a rugby player at weekends.
There are many unpolished aspects of the model and motion.
I want to revisit the project soon to make it better.

She seems to have a large jaw and a thick neck! Is this real time?
