How I know this is BS: He was debating an "ACLU Lawyer" (i.e. the BOOGEYMAN! next week it will be an "egghead professor" or a "pencil necked geek") but...no name! He remembers her conspiratorial "Where did you get that!" as if he had found something stuck in the Vatican Archives but can't produce a name that we might be able to research ourselves. I would LOVE to find an audio recording of that interview. Sadly, it probably doesn't exist.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law (Ten Commandments) is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Your prior post doesn't make much sense. It's full of typos, and jumping statements that require further explanation. That's the only thing I could theorize it was trying to say.
Most Christians believe in the 10 commandments, and some don't. I take it that you don't. Does that mean it's not a sin to believe in different gods? You don't fear punishment if you begin worshiping Vishnu instead?
Ok. I'll "try" to explain to you that the first Amendment says you can worship any religion you want. This is repeated in the Establishment Clause of the constitution that says it's illegal for the government to endorse one religion over another.

She wasn't shocked out of any sort of awe, I assure you, it was more just the sheer surprise at such idiocy.
You've got that book eh?
I've got the Constitution. 1st amendment seems to strongly suggest a secular nation. But hey, who cares about that, right?

@Doodoorump Wrong. But do you care?

PHEW! Even if that *were* true (and my good friend Tommy J. assures me that it's not) thank the FSM that the US isn't a X-ian nation anymore!

Are you saying that Jews have no morals, or have less morals than Christians, regardless of individual differences?

You mean the constitution says you CAN'T believe in other gods or make engraved images?
MadeUThink 2 years ago
The first amendment violates the first two commandments. The end.
