Great old song, well done. I enjoyed it when it was a big number one for the Platters back in 1955. I loved Stan Freberg's comical version. I used to watch Roy Clark at The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas in 1962 when he was lead guitarist with Wanda Jackson's Party Timers doing a comedy version of this also. Freddie Mercury had a great video with this song too. Yours is now added to that list of favorite versions.
