Recently that wheel release got stuck on my machine again. I grabbed a vice grips (!) and used the extra leverage to turn it counter clockwise. Worked for me!
Thank you , thank you and thank you for this video. I am teaching myself how to sew and thought I had broken my presser foot until I found out through this that I can just snap it back into place! Such a big help.
Thanks for showing unfortunately mine doesn't snap into place no matter how hard I press on the screw :(

Yay! I was using my mother's sewing machine and the presser foot came off. I thought I broke it, but thanks to you I fixed it.

That's my all-purpose zig-zag foot. It's the most commonly used presser foot, and I actually took it off and put it on in this demo.

i was just wondering because it looks different then the one on mine.
mines more of a curve at the end, instead of an angle like that one.
