  • man i live a mile from here

  • Ever since LSRC got those 9 GP40M-3's I haven't had to guess what units I was hearing come through town (Mt. Morris). The only unit that they use down here that doesn't have an identical horn tone is the 5921 and the CSX/BNSF powered coal trains. We use to get the GP38's and Alcos but no more.

  • Yes, same ol same ol units up this way for the most part...

  • Your post makes me want to get back down to Port Huron for some rail fanning.

  • nice place to shoot a video keep them comming

  • my grandmother lives on williamson rd we used to go to these tracks every time we came up to mvisit from port huron good video

  • Thanks for answering. do they come on weekends?

  • Hi Josh they really don't run on a schedule so anytimes possible. I have had good luck in early morning and a bit afternoon and was told evening is a good time too but I'm usualy busy so thats not confirmed by me. As for train numbers around four per day but that varies too.

  • i go down by the tracks on fort rd curtis rd nott rd and watch for trains rarely do i see one

  • How often do trains go by this place? What is their schedule?

  • What rode is this by?

  • This was filmed by Williamson rd. close to where it tee's into Dixie hwy. On Williamson right next to the tracks is a self storage then a small walk to the bridge.
