  • MSB was not just a band. It was part of growing up back in the day. Blossom in the summer, the Front Row Theater in the fall, Richfield Coliseum for New Years, and anything in between. We listened to the music, and lived for the next concert. This was, "Our Town" and "Our" band. The music always seemed to hit home and related something going on in your life. This is the way music is suppose to be. They'll always be #1 in my book. God bless you number one fan Wendy E. I'm right there with ya

  • I was at this one!!!<3

  • I saw them in Cleveland on new years day 1982. Great show..I was wearing the same shirt as the bass player.... too cool. I wrecked my car afterwards though....It wasn't all that bad. Things you remember..

  • Sweet concert, was there for that show. Wow old memories of Akron

  • My Les Paul Deluxe is identical to Michael's..........I've had mine 31 years.....Wonder if he's still has his ??

  • Can someone please post "Waste a little time on me" from Stagepass? I was born and raised in Cleveland, I currently live in the boonies in rural Indiana, and my copy of Stagepass was recently ruined..... I'm going through DT's help me please!!!!

  • Just a heads up_Michael Stanley will be at the Pro Football HOF Festivals' Ribs burnoff August 6th. Looking forward to it!!!!

  • This makes me think of my late brother, Angelo.. We were both at this concert. My father, who was with Belkin Productions at the time, had us backstage. My brother loved this song, especially the line "All you get to keep are the memories, you gotta make the good ones last." I have lots of good memories of Angelo! Thank you for posting! <3

  • I was there at Blossom it was awesome

  • cleveland rocks

  • Can't wait for the House of Blues show this December in Cleveland, OH. We haven't missed one and pray he contiues playing. LOVE MSB! I met him a couple of times and he is the BEST!!!

  • We ALL know you love him :-)

  • I thought you might!!! Lol

  • Stanley is still the best and I LOVE those swaying hips!!!

  • Wow! That's probly me in the front row!! Best memories ever! Thanks for posting. :-)

  • I've seen them and Michael's bands at least 30 times...including this concert siries. Just got tix to see em Sept 7th :) 2nd row too! can't wait.

  • Great video. Thanks for posting. I saw these guys several times at Ohio State in the early 80s (Agora Ballroom, Mershon Auditorium). Great shows.

  • This is a great rock and roll band! They had some regional success, but should have been huge! As is often the case, timing overshadows talent! I still get pumped whenever I hear this band, and would definitely see them if they ever tour in my part of the country.

  • Heavy sigh!!

  • Kevin Raleigh made that band.

  • To me, MSB was at a peak at this point, this is one of their best songs. I love this genre, I have MSB, Artful Dodger, Breathless, Donnie Iris, Dwight Twilley on my MP3 player, have them going often at the gym. MSB should have been big rock stars, they were as good as if not better than Journey, Boston, Foreigner, REO etc. Only negative thing I can say, the lyrics can be overly cliched - Inside Moves was terrible for that and musically a dud. My favorite album: 1978's Cabin Fever.

  • maybe not on par with Queen, definitely not with Pink Floyd, however as tocthecat said, MSB was on par with Journey, Boston, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, etc.

  • Oh boy does this bring back memories!

  • I am a fan of Queen. In fact newborn fan, I did listen to Queen my whole life....but weird...just now I re - noticing Freddie Mercury and a big fan. Most talented person ( Freddie Mercury) that was on earth and HE didnt evn notice it. But Micheal Stanley has it too. Hes just a guy that wants to please people with the music that means their life to them. We al live and know it. We were there. And you were too, biut he is still alive...go see him again and again. I am.

  • lol i live in ohio

  • They were much better early on. (You Break It...You Bought It) is excellent.

  • The Michael Stanley Band is decent musically I suppose, but where I think they lack talent is in the song writing department. The lyrics are better than the actual compositions: the compositions being substandard. Certainly not a top notch act, but better than local bands as a whole. Definitely, not a national act. Unfortunately, some of these guys think they're as good as Queen or Pink Floyd. Much more ego than talent. Score: Queen 10 MSB 6

  • all of his songs this is the best one i like ive seen him so many times in person he does put on a good show i just wish he would come to canton more often

  • And if only the Treestumps could get back together....

  • MSB for ever

    Greetings from Germany Nürnberg

  • This band is the best thing to come out of Cleveland, OH. I have loved them for 30 yrs.

    I really miss seeing them.

  • What? Better than the Raspberries...you have to be kidding!

  • No, you've got to be kidding!

  • God Bless Michael Stanley!!! I'm going to see him AGAIN next friday at Tangier. Thanks for keeping him available to all of us on youtube...AWESOME

  • 1981. Very bad year for MSB. No Jonah Koslen.

  • Jonah's there, on top.

  • That's not Jonah Koslen, he left after the live "Stage Pass" album which featured his song "Nothing's Gonna Change My Mind". He formed BREATHLESS which included Mark Avsec (from Wild Cherry) and Kevin Valentine who would later join up with Donnie Iris. Breathless put out two really good albums and received quite a bit of attention in the Cleveland area. Gary Markasky replaced Jonah.

  • An awsome band from an awsome city!! Thanks for posting!

  • Here is some news I got today from line level music for MS fan's. we are in the process of compiling a new DVD release, Michael Stanley's Bootleg Videos, which will consist of previously unavailable live performances and backstage antics from 1974 to the present! And of course, Michael Stanley is always busy in the studio working on his next release - we'll keep you posted

  • Great Cleveland Band Thanks for putting it on

  • A giant slice of heaven! Reunion, perhaps?

  • Memories of these concerts..........ahhhhhhhhh... You guys Rock!!

  • I was at this concert!!!!! Saw them many times over the years and a couple years ago got to meet them backstage at Tangiers!!! Dream come true ... lived in Virginia Beach at the time and drove 600 miles all night to see them .... my picture with Michael Stanley is on my Yahoo 360 page user name rockthekazzbah!!!! MSB rocks!!!!

  • One of the best concert's of all time!!!Saw them at the Painsville Agora. Snuck in with my high school pals from Willoughby South High in 1977

  • This rocks
