omfg... I own a pretty new 93 civic dx. it has a d15 in good condition. weak but only 50k on it. Does it suck? it comes in that regular green CDM color. It's Canadian it was parked for like 17 years. should I fix it up? Everything on the entire car is stock. What should I invest in first? I'm guessing rims cuz I got those SHITTY stock rims.

There are EX sedans. They have all power options, mirrors, windows, cruise and tach. Some have A/C, some don't. Most are auto but I found a manual one!! Canada has them and the EX coupe in Canada is an "Si coupe". Nice.

with 350,000 miles its still running? did you put a new engine in? and whad ya put? i just baught one with 160k plus...its got a decent air intake and muffler and for some reason a freakin brace bar? what is that bar they put so shit doesnt get shifted or warped? man this guy even put shaved doors. its got no work on tires or suspension but i dont know if i wanna put money for a new engine.....if its my dream car.....iv always wanted an acura.

well @JaxxBat i was just asking wich one is better because like i explained before, i bought a 95 civic DX with 161k miles on it and am wondering the lifespan of civic compared to Acura because acuras are SO much nicer. my oppinion, NOT to knock my civic or anything. i love the shit out of my little 5 speed civic, stock engine but wonder if its worth to put a new engine if it craps out or buy a newer used car. i joined a honda forum and am REALLY interested in some of the stuff these guys do.

@roachstr0099... Honda civics have way better undercarriage than acura , forged steel suspension parts not stamped junk.. Civics didnt get famous by accident..I have an RSX-S with turbo 475 to the wheels and I dont really like the car as much as the civic B16 turbo..

@slavahonda In the us the 95 civic coupe was an call the honda civic ex it had 125hp stock. This is a sedan, and in the usa they would call it the lx.

@SuperAnimekid Im from the US and I have the 95 coupe ex. yes I know they came stock with same tuning on a d16z6. I have a b16a2 99 si motor. If you go back to that comment i didnt say which si motor. the z6 is nice but cant do much with it. I love the sohc but dohc can handle more power. and it just looks all around sexier in the engine bay

@TheSwampy010 Yeah i gotta agree with u on the sexiness of dohc in the engine bay, but the z6 is actually really good for turboing on a low psi or if u do the internals right u can put higher psi on it.

@SuperAnimekid ya its good if you completely strip the whole motor and completely rebuild. you can run 7psi safely on a bone stock z6. I did it for a while then sold it. had it like that for over a yr and never had a problem. but i have a supercharger on my b16 and it just feels better. its a safer setup. less room for power improvements but it keeps me from going overboard with it. jackson racing has a supercharger kit for the z6 and you can boost up to 16lbs. i run 11 lbs on mine

@TheSwampy010 i know it's been two years on this post, but there is an ex 4 door... the difference between the ex and lx is the ex has a sunroof and four wheel disc brakes... and some other little things I'm sure but those are the biggest differences

usually no, the long intake made for sucking the cold air and getting the filter away as possible from the hot engine.

plus this intake is made like a spiral inside and the air is turned into small "tornado" in this intake and gets to the intake faster.
