Thank goodness for Conjure Storm Atronach scroll. He kept yelling it's a one-on-one fight, and to use my spells, whilst he was dagger slashing me in the balls. That cannot go unpunished.

i was challenged to and all i did was wack him once with a daedric sword legendary and he was almost dead

im at 47 and mainly an archer. beat an ancient dragon and fucknugget comes out and somehow killed me when i had full bar of health. Was in winterhold.

I was level 35 when he approached me, and his fireballs would kill me in two shots... so I ended up slashing him down while he complained about me not using magic hahaa

The guy was practically half naked challenging me. I don't know if your suppose to only use magic but I raped him with my bound blade which it magic anyways lol. I did here him saying you're cheating! this is a magic duel! <-- if you listen he'll say that. But the guards just muttered this should be interesting... Why didn't the guard help me? LOL oh well.

Had this happen like the others, at lvl 50 illusion - auto saves- stepping out of Breeze home, i get raped, then he never came back....whycome he no tattoo?

I just walked out out of the general store in riverwood (with autosave on so it saved) and this challenger guy challenges me to a duel and im like "oooo ima kick his ass" and the fucker killed me in 1 shot and i was like "LOLWTFBBQ"

Well.. he was KINDA trying to murder you. I believe "Duel without consent" falls under murder

this randomly happened to me as i entered rorikstead. as many others have posted my best magical skill was probably illusion 50, if that. i never even saw the text, as a guard AND the challenger both jumped me to talk at me. one threatening to kill me, the other asking me to stop shouting. ALL the guards promptly beat him down before i could even do anything. it was very amusing!

I watch a lot of skyrim quest videos, dragon fights and random events like this and I wonder if its a difference in difficulty or just the magicka level in general. That guy spammed me with fireballs and there was nothing i could do.

was he part of a quest cause i got one when i was at that mountain city but i was doing another quest and the guards were trying to kill me

Same here, except level 14. TOTALLY unexpected as soon as I walk out of the inn in Winterhold. I'm a Conjurer, so naturally, most of the damage was done by my atronach and wizard companion who were right next to me when he came out of nowhere. But I also slashed him a couple of times with my dual wielded bound swords. He was WAY less of a chellenge than those hired thugs that can get sent after you.

@GameNinja13 No. The challenger appeared to me when my best magic skill was Illusion 50. Not exactly the most destructive magic skill... >_> I let my Atronachs tear him up.
