I THINK THAT U ACTUALLY HAD TO SAY THAT U REPLACED THE REGULAR GLUTEN-CONTAINING GRAINS W/ THE ***BROWN RICE FLOUR*** AS THE COCO-FLOUR IS JUST COCO=THE FATS IN THIS MEAL !!! THAT WOULD BE MUCH MORE UNDERSTANDABLE. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE, GONNA TRY IT !
I made these for breakfast this morning & OMG! They were delicious!! First Protein pancakes that were easy to flip & really good! My 17 month old loved them! :D Thank so much for this Video. Please make more cooking videos!
Okay seriously...YOUR AWESOME! lol i have learned sooo much from just watching two of your videos...My wedding is in 30 days and i have been going to the gym like a mad woman but cant seem to shed the weight...im 5'5 and weigh about 160...im not fat but would love to shed some weight and be lean..more so because im diabetic and realized that by working out and watching what i eat that its maintaing my sugar levels...but i just got soo many ideas for some snacks ...THANK YOU...
Wow! I guess having Celiac isn't so bad after all! It's acually healthier? Thank you so much! Your such an inspiration. Hopefully soon I can be sayin "KISS MY ABBS!" Much love, Hannah
I am going to pick up coconut flour and brown rice flour, like, today. These look amazing. You are my favorite fitness guru! I love that you keep it light and funny--and your recipes actually sound GOOD, instead of weird and freaky.
I love your videos! You're very informed on nutrition, a lot more so than any other personal trainer/dietician I've ever seen. I never knew what gluten really did to you or why it should be avoided. Amazing tips!
@fawnatron Thank you so much! What a nice comment :) And It's nice to know that some people actually enjoy learning about things like intestinal villi and gluten!!
@leansecrets You are the most inspirational person ever! I am gonna lose 40lbs so I am as gorgeous and in the know as you :) Please keep making videos, it really motivates me. You give the right tips, without being slutty, and you actually want us to succeed. Seriously, I am sooo happy that you are on youtube helping girls, and people like me!! THANK YOU!!! <3 :D
"oh my God...YUP.. That's good stuff right there" lol! those pancakes look scrumptious! and great idea for jam! I get excited when I get an email saying New video from leansecrets! It helps me stay on track ;o) Thanks! Oh by the way... Progress update! I have lost 7lbs!
@TrainEatySleepy I use it in my hair too! Coconut oil is the only oil I cook with because it is the ONLY oil that can withstand high temps without compromising the antioxidant content and doesn't oxidize from high heat. Other oils actually change chemical structure aka cross linking, fragmentation and polymerization). Basically all other oils are denatured during the cooking process. Coconut oil is not.
Instead of stevia, you could use Truvia found @any grocery store :)
@leansecrets Wow, thanks for the detailed answer, ma'am. I'll replace my extra light olive oil with coconut oil. Hopefully it is quite mild in flavor.
I asked about substituting Stevia, because I've seen articles suggesting potential health risks from consuming it, but you use it, and I think I trust you, maybe.
thank you for your reply, and i just want to thank you for all you've done for me, even though you don't know me, your videos have given me soo much motivation that i have lost 25 pounds already and i have never lost so much without giving up! and being a 19 year old girl who was 10 pounds away from 400, this is amazing! please don't ever stop making videos! and i noticed your ebook and cookbook can oly be for like kindles and stuff and i don't have one, so is there a way to by them as a book?
I signed a contract too and enrolled in PT too to reduce my body fat from 29% to 15%! Was wondering if you had any healthy suggestions for cravings for a sweet tooth? I do love desserts but I am restricting it to once a week.

You know what I like about you and your videos Ms Brenda? You promote how to live a healthy, positive life and thats good. But what I have notice in most of your video's is that you like to be in the kitchen and thats what I really like the most watchin you.
i am so going to try your pancakes! do they have a big coconut taste to it? and in your videos you keep mentioning whole food stores and trator joes, well where i live we don't have that, what should i do? and i love what your doing at the end of your videos they're like comentary on your videos or bloopers lol, they're great!
@razzledazzledarling1 Hey "Darling"! Thanks so much for the feedback, and continued support!! Surprisingly enough, the coconut flavor is super mild...They're still very good though. Use whatever fruit you want. You can turn these into "banana pancakes" or "cinnamon apple" or even "veggie" by adding in a few fresh ingredients. And you can get literally ANY non-perishable ingredient I use in my videos on Amazon. In fact, Amazon is always the cheapest option!
so freaking good!!!! seriously, can i eat these every day?

I may try this.
So coconut oil is better than olive oil I presume? It's funny, because my cousin uses it on her hair.
What is a sweetener to substitute for Stevia extract? Answer me woman!
