Having houses that look lit up inside at night really adds to the atmosphere and was badly missed in Oblivion imo. Early signs suggest it's back for Skyrim though, and it could also be a nifty way of determining who is at home with regards to thieving and assassination missions.

Weird things happen in this game especially in the first dungeon where you start off in. I mean I look into this closet after killing a bear and I start hearing those screams from behind. Ghost things started attacking and then I died. Did it again and this time they didn't appear.

@TheRetroZombie Yeeeeah, I saw it happen on some saves too. I have no idea why there is a ghost spawning in the first dungeon, considered that you won't be able to hit it unless you get the ebony dagger in character creation or some damaging spell. :/

As most of the people who are waiting for Skyrim know, the plot is based on civil war in the province that happened due to the death of king Olaf.

It would be fucking AWESOME to see ghost of king Olaf somewhere in Windhelm yelling: "VENNNGEEEAAANCE"!! Skyrim has got alredy some nice Morrowind refernces like dwemer's ruins and volcanic tundra, so thumbs up if you want some refernces to TES II !

I hear ya, that "Vengeance" moan always scared the crap out of me. I never liked being in Daggerfall city at night. The music kinda doesn't make it as scary, so I'd usually turn it off at night.

MrDabbler: You can get a horse at certain stores in town their just listed like any other item. Same with wagon.

XxXTommo69: Go into your Dagger folder, find Z.cfg, open it with notepad, change betaplyr to viewplyr and then restart the game. You will now have an Oblivion style GUI, you will have WASD movement and you have mouse look (move the mouse to look around). Before playing the game, go into Options/Controls and check the new keyboard commands. They will be different, but recognisable.

I was waiting outside a store until nighttime so I could break in and clean the place out. Was interrupted by an "enemies nearby" message, so I looked around a bit and found nothing. Went back to the store and tried to wait for again, but couldn't. Then I heard "VENGEANCE!" which literally made me jump out of my seat. Turned around just in time to see a ghost fly at me and kill me.

Needless to say, I was ALWAYS sure to travel to Daggerfall at daylight after that.

Just letting you know, there has been few underkings, none of whom were king Lysandus. He's just some minor king who'se upset over the whole assasination thing, while underking on Daggerfall is a crazy dead-but-immortal mage called Zurin Arctus who'se heart is currently crammed in the Numidum and he misses it very much. :)

As for the ghost, it wasn't lysandus himself but one of his "spectral army" [sic] members.

once the "townfolks go home at night" feature bugged out for me and for like a week ingame the streets of all cities would be deserted at daytime and crowded as usual in the middle night.

it fixed itself after that.
