What I know and have heard is that women are not allowed to read koraanen front men such as this woman does. One of the hadiths says that when women begin to "lead" men like this (by a woman reading koraanen and the men behind her) it's a sign of Judgement Day is near.

assalamualaikum.i wanna say that the way he is reciting is correct.in surah ikhlas she uses the seven(7) ways of recitration.For ur kind information there 7 way of recitation,i mean to say that u can recite quran in 7 ways.this tye is the highest status of any qari/qariya to recite like this.........and i agree that she should be in hijab.if she is reciting in front of both male and female audience she must be in hijab.

@diopfantalove21 If women are forbidden to alert the imam by speaking if he makes a mistake, and should clap instead as the prophet(pbuh) told us, so that they will not raise their voice in the presence of men, then how can it be allowed for a woman to recite qur'an and beautify her voice and or deliver a khutbah to them? Islam is beautiful and Allah is all wise and his prophet(pbuh) knows best so we should stay away from doubtful things n clear things such as this matter here. Allah knows best

If you keep your duty (to Allaah), then be not soft in speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease (of hypocrisy, or evil desire for adultery) should be moved with desire, but speak in an honourable manner”[al-Ahzaab 33:32]. As u can see be not soft in speech is beautifying our voices, talking in soft manner or a seductive way in front of men.

It should be noted that the voice of a woman is not ‘awrah according to the more correct of the two scholarly opinions, so long as there is no softness (flirtation) of speech.
It says in Kashshaaf al-Qinaa’ (5/15), which is a Hanafi book: Her voice is not ‘awrah. It says in al-Furoo’ and elsewhere: according to the more correct opinion, but it is haraam to enjoy listening to it even if she is reciting Qur’aan, for fear of fitnah. End quote. ~

What I know and have heard is that women are not allowed to read koraanen front men such as this woman does. One of the hadiths says that when women begin to "lead" men like this (by a woman reading koraanen and the men behind her) it's a sign of Judgement Day is near.
