  • SOURSOP YEAH!

  • omg that shit is goog

  • They sell guanabana in Asian markets through out san Jose, los Angeles, and san Diego. It's not rare over here in cali

  • Guanabana is the best. I always drink guanabana juice in DR.

  • fruit-napper

  • Soursop makes some damned amazing cocktails. I tell ya...

  • Your instincts are correct: the guanábana is indeed related to the cherimoya (and the American paw-paw for that matter).

I'd be curious to hear how your seeds develop in Minnesota and if you have success pollinating them. Best of Luck!

  • i can't believe it only cost you a dollar. i live in canada and went to the market today, cost me 20 for 2lb soursop and 30 for 4.5lb durian. how much does it cost for you?

  • ay DIos mio como la conseguiste aqui en EUA? dimeee que me muero por probar una!!! solo cuando voy a mexico la pruebo :(

  • ur such a hottie

  • MINNESOTA REALLY ? DOESNT THAT PLACE HAVE THE COLDEST WIND CHILL IN THE WHOLE U.S IN THE WINTER LOL. THIS FRUIT IS AMAZING

  • FYI, chirimoya not same as soursop/guanabana which is not same as durian!!!

  • Don't even think about planting those seeds chief. It'l take up to 10 years before youeven get a fruit. Plus planting that in Minnesoota (They say it that way there) isn't gonna work either. Too cold. Your'e better off just smuggling them like you did with this one. You Soursop smuggler you. :(

  • Yeah, I don´t understand the foss about Durian, when there is guanabana that taste delicious and very sweet and doesn´t smells bad.

  • @ookamidigital yeah howd that go

  • so, just wondering, what are your top 5 favs.?

  • They call this fruit "GRAVIOLA" also! I think in the Philippines they call it that.

It is very good for CANCER cure, and for overall good health!

  • @Rawmodel, can you get it in NY in a form of fruit? I couldn't find it here in Los Angeles.

  • Yes, it is 10,000 (ten thousand) times stronger than chemotherapy. You forgot to mention "without the side effects".

And IT IS NOT GROWN DEEP IN THE AMAZON RAINFOREST.

It is grown anywhere in a tropical climate.

  • little information about this fruit SOURSOP. in the PHILIPPINES we called it GUYABANOS and it is being used by the DRUG MANUFACTURER in making CHEMOTHERAPHY DRUGS. it is 10 thousand times stronger in fighting CANCER.

  • OMG you made my mouth water! They are freakin tasty!!! i bought one in El Salvador and they cost about 3 dollars they are called guanabanas there and can find them in may to june in the outdoor markets there...amazing fruits....Does anyone know about Zincuyas or sincuyas it seems like they are relatives but taste different .....thanks

  • Saludos a todos. No recuerdo el nombre de una fruta que habia en Cuba, que parecia una uva y la uzabamos como pegamento. Si alguien se acuerda del nombre, por favor digame. Gracias.

  • say "gwanna-banna" and you'll be closer to the actual spanish pronounciation.

  • haha u can find those in the us

  • soursop!!

i made juice out of it! amazing soury and sweet taste :) but please look for the ripe one.the tip is to press the fruit.if its soft then its ripe. we call it Durian Belanda or in English it'll be "Dutch Durian"

  • I believe the reason we call it Dutch Durian is that the Dutch were known for being stingy, so basically, "almost durian", due to the shape and small "spikes"

    Correct me if I'm wrong!

  • You can't plant those seeds. The tree is humungous. The average tree is about 4 stories high and only grows in hot places.

  • pa que lo sepa, long live the Island people!

  • is a pity in my county (colombia)sells this fruits all the time is very usual finds this like find an apple....but i dont like to much his flavor...my sister loves this fruit

  • dude

that fruit is the tastiest fruit.

    you can actually make some

    delicious smoothies with it.

    my friends acutally has soursop

    growing in his back yard.

    and i live in hawaii.

  • @adrian96706 you're right! I was visiting family in Panama and would constantly go to the store and buy guanabana smoothies. Delicious.

  • @adrian96706 I ate one in Costa Rica. XD IT was not ripe. xD

  • @adrian96706 we can make home made monsters! (the energy drink)

  • eww, can't believe u ate the heart, i luv guanabana, i find it in costa rica all the time, that, rambutan, and strawberries r the best fruits

  • i want some guanabana!!!

  • oh i see.

  • There are so many more fruit that americans are oblivious to. Rambutan, soursop, longan, dragon fruit, loquat, cherimoya, mangosteen, noni, monstera, canistel, jackfruit, durian, just to name a few. Its sad because these fruit are typically better than the common junk we get like apples and oranges. And whenever anyone asks me what my favorite fruit is (its rambutan) i have to say something else that ppl know of. Or else ppl go whats that and then i have to explain. Ignorance is annoying.

  • one dollar, thats a good deal. How did u find it in the US

  • I have seen them in Chinatown NYC...but this is from Mexico...

    Anthony

  • @Rawmodel hey dude can u still get this in nyc or how can i get this from mexico..here is my eamil re440@yahoo.com thank you

  • @pedazodecola what are the results for ur cancer from using this fruit?

  • I love them. They are delcious but hard to find here in the US.

  • Guanabana is one of my favorites too. you should try guineps (limoncillo) next time you are in the tropics/caribbean; they may sell them in latin/spanish supermarkets but they are not the same as fresh from the island fruits.

  • i want one!
