  • AMEN to that

  • Great song---he lists these chiefs...lot of pride in Indian culture

  • Johnny was one few celebreties who sung/talked about the Indian situation. Americans don't know about the atrocious boarding school situation of the early 1900'sand also '50's city relocation that nearly destoyed Indian culture. It hurt, but Indian people are holding on, no not just holding on, they've got it back.

  • Awesome!

  • yes respect and honor the native american and native american culture FOR EVER

  • Respect and honor the native american and native american culture. There's a lot of knowledge to be shared, especially herbal and spiritual. Let's never forget the trail of tears and needless butchering and starving of our fellow men, women and children. Let this never happen again.

  • @FalconSupreme Very well said.

  • @FalconSupreme oh, its still going on--the govt is just a lot more sublte about. they are still after indian sovereinnity and the land they have. Still things are somewhat better.

  • INDIANS=AMERICA NO DOUBT!!!!!!

  • I would say that this song is about how stupid people can be when they try to think of themselves as the once whose way of living and understanding of world is the best. It is a song of how stupid are the ones who want to make all the world the same color.

  • These drums shall never pass, and will forever fade from there great heritage

  • Tecumseh who was planning to form a federation of several tribes to fight off the whites. He really died an old man in Oklahoma, with same vision that never came to past. As a little boy I seen Tecumseh's grave in Oklahoma. history books say different.

  • The Five Nations if Indian tribes attacked the Hurons in 1649 to 1651. They killed over 20,000 Hurons. Most Hurons escaped by moving west and north. They attacked the Eries in 1653 to 1656 and killed over 15,000 Eries. Both statistics are recorded in the Academic American Encyclopedia on page 229 and 316. They attacked the Neutrals in 1656 and killed over 12,000. These wars resulted in the Eries and Neutrals being exterminated, complete genocide. They exist only in name today.
