World tour is fucking garbage. They ruined the hammer-ons and pull-offs trying to make it like rock band. TIGHTER DOES NOT EQUAL BETTER. Yes technicality matters in music, but for the kinds of solos necessary for many many songs, organic is the key word. Organic and flowy.

The timing windows are NOTHING like RB's. they're actually easier than GH2's. GH3's were terrible. one of the first solos in cliffs of dover can be FC'd be spamming orange and hitting the other notes >_>

Passing it in GH2 is very different from FCing it. Take away the player's ability to FC things just because theyre complicated (despite the player knowing exactly how to do it, and executing the movements flawlessly) is not an improvement.

Despite what you may think, they did not change the gameplay because of whiny fanboys on their forum, they did it to "compete" with rock band, by making it similar. Which was the entire deal with world tour - emulating rock band. Anyway no hard feelings
