  • is it compatible with psx/psone?

  • it works on the ps3? right?

  • why is everybody saying bad about this arcade stick? I dont get it

  • @VAST56 the buttons are soldered to the pcb, not a very good quality gate, bad stock buttons

  • BUFF GUY :D

  • GREASE BALL WOG CUNT!!!

  • @77niggaplease

Go take you head for a shit, express yourself appropriately.

  • for kof XIII any stick with no ps home button= useless

  • @Wahagetswaha3 You should buy a real usb adaptor, because it works. Do you want proof?

  • can you mod this?

  • does it work on ps3 or ko13, did anyone try yet

  • @gizelbelcoot it doesn't work with kof 13, which sux cuz i bought it with kof 13 T_T

its ok if its ur first arcade stick just to try this/tht+low budget.

my opinion- dnt get it. always stick to these madcatz/quanba/hori

  • @MorteSeoinage

shit man thanks alot u saved me , i was ordering this with kof13 lol, glad i asked

  • Don't buy it unless you want to mod it.

  • Does this work with XB360 since it has a USB port?

  • @JediSange no it wont the crappy 360 controllers have to be digitally signed by microsoft for them to work it would work on the ps3 though.alot of pc usb controllers work on the ps3

  • @JediSange Lol can you not read... ps2 ps3 and pc bro.. comeon. i hope youre trolling.. o.o

  • i have a stick already for my ps3 but just wondering.if i bought this one cud i switch out these buttons for the sanwa ones used n the madcatz sticks?

  • great joy stick! I do have the one this layout: Turbo,clear, sel,sta,Playstation home-b. L3 , R3

Plus, x,Sq,Tri,O, L1,L2,R1,R2! Oçourse mine is wider and 1/2 lb heavier!

Thanks for that riview! next time plese go over the function bottons Please!

  • The stick is good for the money and yes it is solid but MAN do I hate the noisy, clunky buttons after being used to sanwa buttons. But hey if I need something it is there and , I didnt pay much.

  • pretty beast stick. i've had mine for about 3 years now. mushy buttons yes. responsive stick and buttons yes. buttons getting stuck no. top quality buttons&and stick hell no. my stick worked perfectly fine with the factory parts and works even better now with my sanwa parts.

  • @came2getbusy Wow this stick has gotten so many mixed reviews. Im thinking about getting this or a hori wireless fighting stick 3 which one would you recommend?

  • @ricyorb this if you plan on or know someone who can switch the stick and buttons yes. i say that because there are mixed reviews, and it looks like i lucked out with decent factory parts. if you were to get another stick, i'd go for something wired because even a small amount of latency can throw your whole shit off. good luck though ^^

  • how much is this?

  • Would this work for a mame emulator??????

  • That has to be the worst stick I've ever bought :(

  • @THEfirstLEVELup Why? And other Ideas for the PC? Wondering if i have to braze things when i want to Mod it? Looking for my first one after losing quite hard in SSF4AE with my 360 Wireless Pad and his "awesome" DPad. -.-

  • @IHaTeD2 The stick on this is so loose and unresponsive and any force at all could break this stuck

also the buttons are so stiff that my fingers get numb after about 30min of playing it's also a huge pain to mod if anything Just get the Hori EX2 for 360 or get the Street Fight SE stick for PS3 they both cost alittle more but it's worth it to stay away from that piece of junk!!

  • @THEfirstLEVELup I need one for the PC and there is only this one and another crappy one so i use this one and maybe i mod it later on .

  • @IHaTeD2 Actually the EX2 works on PC any USB controller works on PC (At least in my case)

  • @THEfirstLEVELup There are some Problems using the EX2 on the PC (Check out Amazon Comments for this) so not the best choice yet.

  • @MarkQP The buttons suck,The stick is beyond unresponsive, and the PS2 port didn't even work beyond all I hate it TTT^TTT

  • @THEfirstLEVELup

    o

    thx for telling me

imma get the hori real arcarde pro instead

  • @THEfirstLEVELup Sorry for your pain, but you can rest knowing your warned others. :)

  • @THEfirstLEVELup is it that bad

  • @mkabaso2010 YES!

  • @THEfirstLEVELup I'm not too big into sticks, but I've been wanting one to play older fighting games on. Is this broken or something? Or was it just not to your liking? I plan on buying it since it's so much cheaper.

  • Loser tool.

  • shitty arcade stick. only good if you want to mod it.

buttons are ok but the joystick omg its garbage seriously

  • How is it compared to the arcade sticks at arcades?

  • @aznpro4 This is a terrible quality stick. I used it several times. It can't even be compared to a stick at the arcades. This is a really low quality product. The price is attractive, but you'll end up being very disappointed, because the directions barely register and the buttons feel tacky.

  • Bought 2, very nice. I like it. It does what it says. Will buy 2 more in the future once I get my mame cab together.

  • I bought this thing, it has a horrible sensitivity on the stick. I suggest replacing the stick right away before you do anything. Other than that its a solid stick and a good tool.

  • @afrolessnova So do you have do move it really hard or soft for it to register?

  • @YelloFerro Its normal. It registers pretty good. Enough and better then a pad or controller.

  • Ummm so if you push the joystick up will it activate the cursor or the directional buttons?

  • dont buy this shit man

if u want a really good arcade stick then go and buy the street fighter tournament edition

i had my experience and those sticks which are very cheap arent good at all

if some body play tekken he has to buy a korean arcade stick

and thos for street fighter buy the tournament edition round 2

  • it doesn' work on ps3 anymore i have heard

  • will it work for tekken 6?

  • Is there any way to use this with the 360 since it has a usb interface?

  • Will this work on the slim still? I hear the firmware makes a lot of sticks stop working

  • Thinkin about using this for MvC3...hope it's good?

  • @Gonk hey donk i just bought this stick. gettin shipped to me right now. ill elt you know how it is

  • will this work with touhou IaMP, SWR, Hisoutensoku and Umineko Ougon Musou kyoku? just wanna know because they are what ill most likely use it for :)

  • does this arcade stick still works on the ps3? my blaze arcade stick went straight to hell after 3.50 update and im looking for a new one.

  • @Rodrigo00 yes:)

  • Is good in game?

  • can that stick be used for final fight its a beat em up game

  • can this work for art of fighting

  • um no my personal favourite isn't XP, its Vista, and I have good reasons for it.

    1) More stable than XP and more recoverable when 3rd party software crashes.

    2) More Secure vs un-secure with XP.

    3) DirectX 10.

    4) Better/Easier networking.

But really my favourite thing over XP is the stability, which is really the most important thing you want when gaming.

  • Also @ armboy and others interested. Youtube won't let me post the link,

  • i have a first gen PS3 that can play PS2 games, will this stick work with ps2 games on my ps3? and is it modifiable?

  • Comment removed

  • @GFVC1 I would like to know this too. If the stick can be used with a ps3 while playing ps2 games

  • @sebmoreno11 i believe so, the ps3 considers it a ps3 controller

  • @GFVC1 yes to both. At least, I am hoping so.

  • Almost Bought This Stick Glad I Didn't Not Saying This Arcade Stick Is Bad Or Anything I Just Decided To Go With The Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 For PS3

  • Comment removed

  • i got this arcade stick and its awesome it works on ps3,ps1,pc i coudnt get it to work on ps2 though

  • what is the cable length

  • It's true what he said the stick is good for Emulators and beat 'em ups. It would be wise to mod it with at least a Sanwa/seimetsu joystick. Worst Arcade Stick ever made is untrue but best for modding is right up there. I'd get this if you were planning to Mod it. The Hori FS3 is excellent the way it is.

  • @SuperAwesomeTNT - i would love to mod with sanwa....but i have no idea how. I have a....white color kof XII joystick from joytron....help me... =(

  • @armyboy24 I'm pretty sure you can use that. Look up Modding Video's on Youtube, or search modding this actual Stick. "Modding Mayflash" and a link to Shoryuken forum post about modding it should appear in the top 3or 4 listings. It's really well presented. You'll need some tools to do it, Dremel soddering, wires. etc. But it should be a nice experience. I hope that helps.

  • Windows7 is brilliant! I dled it via Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and installed it on my personal desktop computer, and it runs faultlessly! My partner and i without a doubt highly recommend you get it!

  • should i get this or hori fs3?

  • @ADcoolboy if ur rich go with hori, if ur broke like me get this

  • that is the worst arcade stick ever made, but its the best arcade stick for modding

  • i herd this works on wii too is this true

  • I got a question, does Dascheap ship to Canada?

If I was planning to mod a stick, should I choose this, or the Hori FS3?

  • Noes! what happened to the cool hair? :(

  • for some reason mine doesnt work when I plug it in :P Can somebody help me?

  • @senpuu1440

What are you trying to use it with? If it's a computer, what operating system is it?

  • out of the box, is the worst arcade stick i have owned. but after modding it, it is pretty awesome.

  • Does this work for mvc2 or street fighter 4? on the ps3

  • Can't it work on Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Cause I order it and wondering if it works for it. The PS3 and 360 version of em were sold out so the universal fighting stick is the only one on sale.

  • @peck324 It works but the buttons feel so hard so theyr not too sensitive which would work on MVC2 because of the quick combos. I don't recommend it for MVC2 unless you're a super expert. The arcade stick doesnt weigh that much so forget button mashing or it'll fall.

  • How easy is it to modify this stick? In comparison to the MadCatz SE fightstick that is.

  • Well, you'll need wire, soldering skills and knowledge of PCBs. If you've got that, its quite easy.

The buttons are 28mm and not the standard 30mm, so if you want to swap in high quality sanwa or other such quality buttons you'll need to file some plastic. Overall, the Mayflash stick is a cheap stick with cheap buttons, but it's got a great eight button layout, perfect size and a great casing. You can install a JLF joystick and sanwa parts and make yourself a Hori ED3 at half the price.

  • I had just gotten one of these at the mail yesterday

  • I was wondering how good is it ? I herd it doesn't work with some ps2 games like tekken 5,kof 06 ect?

  • Well, I tried it with MAME and it works great.

I even also tried it with Fusion to see how well it works with Mortal Kombat for the Sega Genesis.

  • @Dakkiller1 .. so it works with mame too!? how about with the cps3 emulator..? do you know?

  • @Fenrid7 Hadn't tried it with cps3 yet.

  • @Dakkiller1 how does it work? i might get one.

  • 2009 PCB is sheeyat. makes it even harder to mod.

  • These are one of the best sticks when modded. I have the FS3 and my bro is planning to get this cuz of it's cheap price at amazon. It's base is what's great because of all the room for your palms to rest on. Shit at first, awesome when modded.

  • I want something like this to play on the wii.

  • Is this easy to mod?

  • howdo u connect it to ur ps3!????? cuse i got 1 and i am having problems

  • how about 7

  • nice love to buy one and do sum custom airbrushing on it

  • how do you do that? :3

  • who i can buy this ? and then when i instal cd and conect ps3 with pc can i see on the laptop screen what i make play and other things?

    SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISCH

  • im gonna get a mac soon and i want this is there a way i can get it to work on mac?

  • I have that arcade stick,is realy something and its so nice that i can actualy play with 3 diferend machine types.I also have two wireless logitech controlers for pc,and although they have no compatibility with ps3,as the box says i have try it and play even with my ps3.lucky i thing i dont know!

  • I have this stick.

Definitely not recommended at all, the stick is awful, even with a square gate, you literally have to shove the stick right into the corner to get the diagonal input.

Not to mention it feels like there's sponges underneath the buttons.

  • sad to hear that, I got this stick, I love this thing, combos are easy for me.

  • It's not about how easy it is, it's just incredibly awkward, the whole thing just feels like shit, so I switched back to pad and keyboard, and use a different arcade stick for PC now.

  • I meant' it felt good for me, it's easy for me to perform moves, it has that slightly loose feeling, but that doesn't affect my game play

  • 40 dollars for a stick that plays on ps2,ps3 and pc. 16 dollars for 6seimitsu buttons and 2 plugs, 20 dollars for a new joystick plus 7 dollars for shipping. 83 dollars for a great stick that plays on 3 different platforms without bootleg drivers. thats a good deal my friend.

  • Not when you need to shave the goddamn holes bigger, it becomes a real pain in the ass.

What's good, however, is a store in my country sells pre-modded Mayflash sticks for just a few dollars more than I bought my unmodded one for.

  • Do you really need a converter for Xbox 360? Don't Troll. I really need an answer

  • does it work for xbox and xbox 360? in the box its written work for xbox ???

  • you need the converter. lol weird.

  • yo thanx for the answer ,do you have this fight stick ? buy it or not? and how much the converter for xbox :/?

  • well, its my first stick so im not sure. the converter should be around 10 to 20 bucks. it just needs a new stick and buttons :p

  • cool thanks but dont forget the ship :P? anyway you heard mad catz stick? what is different i dont want to waste 150 for stick like mad catz .

  • the TE stick, the 150 one, has sanwa parts (high quality) and the case, in my opinion, is one of the best out there. looks nice and sturdy. shinjinSRK goes into in depth on his channel.

  • yooooooooooo please answer me please i heard this fight stick you can remap button is that right????? i mean can you make 1 button (example L1 =X+O buttons) when i pres L1 then it pressed X+O in ps3 .waiting your answer

  • im sure you can. i only play on pc though :p

  • my friend programmed a whole combo on 1 button. I'm sure what you're asking can be done.

  • will someone please tell me what this turbo thing is?? ive heard about it on every single arcade joystick but i dont know what it is

  • turbo, is like hitting the button extremely fast, so in street fighter, if you have turbo enabled, and you hold down LP or on ps3 square, it would continue punching fast, even tho you are holding the button down

  • i have a ps3 and i still game with my ps2 fighting games, and when launching a ps2 game on a ps3 you need to press the "playstation" center button to turn the controller on again.

basically i'm wondering if i can use this while playing ps2 games on a ps3

  • I'm buying this shit only to mod it :) I'll rip this ass joystick and replace with Seimitsu LS-32 :) and buttons with Seimitsu PS-14 GN :) But I don't know what color ^^ Maybe all white or maybe to make some green glowing buttons :) We'll see ;]

  • i have this stick. good for casual. but not for tournys

  • Who is this joker? Mo ducker talking too much and knowing too little

  • is this stick good? i heard it's not

  • It's quite crappy by default but it makes for a GREAT base for modifications even though you'll have to have some soldering and Dremel skills.

I bought a used one and replaced everything with Sanwa parts - the total cost was still around HALF the price of a MadCatz TE stick and it has the same parts (well, with an octagonal gate).

  • I'm doing a button and stick swap out in my se just cuz i got some extra cash and want it to look nice lol the stick i am sure will be better. But when i had no money, the hori $60 special was nice. I want to find a nice cheap hori for me ps3 but they're not really in stores.

  • Anyone tried it with Linux? (Don't troll, Linux is a must if you want to cut costs building an arcade cabinet. Or if you just want a little arcade box connected to your TV).

  • I think people are caught up in the must have "sanwa" or it''s junk. i have a hori, an se and a full sanwa stick. sure it feels nicer but it's really not a big deal. im decent at street fighters but i still wreck it with a D-pad. IF youve never owned a fightstick. get something cheap. there's no need to have buttons that " feel" the best. they're all responsive no matter what you get. save your money for new games coming out. stop making ebayers rich.

  • the stupidest thing about the whole "sanwa" hype is that must people that want them have been playing with happ parts for the last 15 years.

  • The Hori clone buttons tend to wear out faster. That's really the main consideration when it comes to swapping them out.

  • i dont know how to use arcade stick iam still a kid

  • Guys if i buy this would i have to change the pcp as well as the buttons and stick to sanwa parts ? or just the latter 2 ?

    Thanks.

  • I'm not going to lie, This stick is great for it's price, I bought it about a week ago and I use it for SFIV and SFIII3rd Strike (GGPO/Mame++117) and it works fine, No problems whatsoever. I plan on modding it sooner or later though.

  • i bought some hori sticks, and other ones, and i realized that is faster&cheaper to build your own joystick from scratch, you buy a seimitsu high quality joystick, and some sanwa buttons, you put all together into a wood box and you are done.

  • Its not a serious stick... this is only for casual players... for Mame take a X-arcade.High price, but high quality!

  • Oh, and what will happen if you plug in the usb on a ps2? or plug both in?? They demand that you don't do it, but I'm curious to know.

  • lol. i wouldnt do it but if you do tell me what happens lol

  • Just bought one and I was surprised it even worked. Can't wait to buy some new parts :) overall though, for its price its pretty good I have to admit

  • stick is garbage unless you mod. in that case you'd have to spend an extra 30-40 for the parts.

actually, the stick is a sanwa, but a VERY shitty one. don't get your hopes high. way too loose.

i'm still figuring out how to open this bastard.

  • It opens with just 4 screws under the sticky feet. If you can't figure that out, don't even attempt opening it.

  • Just wondering, is this REALLY worth getting? has a square gate I heard, is this good? What other SF arcade cabinets have square gate restrictors for their joysticks?

  • I have this stick its a very good stick for the price , I got it for a PS2 system so I could play SFA3 and SF3 3S . Works great .

  • Hmm...wonder if the 'macro' feature works for directional movement.

Cuz if it does....a one button Spinning Piledriver from Zangeif would be deadly.

  • On the PC there is a function that lets you record a movement and store it to any button, i dont use it but theoretically you could put a whole damm combo on that thing.

  • That type of cheating is what I am afraid of with the upcomming SF4.

(hope KoF12 makes it to the PC as well)

  • Don't worry (you can cheat like this on consoles as well, just not out of the box.)

  • oh hell yeah

  • there could be seconds or miliseconds of lag, with the pcb working for 3 different consoles, the chances are likely, although you may not notice it but pulling off strategic combos with a game of virtua fighter, you will notice the difference, and i bet the stick aint even sanwa ¬,¬

  • Still good stick for beginner and price.

  • i have the same question as joetojoe1.

can you make this work for the 360?

  • take x360 controller and do wire job again (solder etc)... microsoft put kind of dll in x360 that restrict allowed controllers mainly to forbid mouse/keyboard to be pluged in (ur a company u build a controller, if u want it to work on x360 u need to pay microsoft) thats why most controllers are for x360 only or for pc/ps2/ps3 only

  • u guys got the se fightstick in stock plz pm me

  • can u anyway make this work with the xbox 360

  • you should get this and replace it with sanwa joystick and buttons. For its price its a good stick.

  • I just bought this from your website. Thanks for the review. I appreciate it. I am happy to support you guys.

  • This can be easily modded to put better buttons and joystick. My friend put on sanwa buttons and stick. Im going to buy this just so I can take out the pcb and put it into my own custom case with custom buttons and stick MUHJAHAHAHH its a steal.

  • how does this stick compare to a hori stick?

  • very badly the stick is shit i got a hori aswell its way better

  • Its very basic, its like comparing a car with and without powersteering; I have one for playing the PS2 and while its solid enough and does the job, you really do have to exhagurate the moves.. Great for the price!

  • how much is this for

  • around 60 bucks. Shipping included. Check it out on their site. It was the best price for it I could find. I went to alot of other sites and they seemed good but charged a butt load for shipping. I'll be doing my own review probably on my youtube.

  • this stick is shit i got one but its good to be modified

  • i agree, very pissed off at the quality of the buttons, but there is light after i'm hearing from you guys that the buttons can be modded, but how. tutorials anyone

  • does this stick rotate inside a square base or a circle one?

  • can this be modified

so i can put in a sanwa ball top ?

  • who use this arcade stick ?
