It pisses me off to see Bernie Ecclestone apple-polishing Vettel, he and Jackie Stewart saying he is one of the best drivers in F1 history. Ohh c'mon what has he done? Gotta admit Schumacher has always been impressive in front of the cameras just as much as he has on the track throughout his career; Knows exactly the right things to say at the right time.
@RagingUtai. The car worked fine. As he came around the corner he was going faster than usual, and took a tighter turn than usual. That almost tripled the G-force of the turn. There are also 2 bumps on the inside of the turn. Senna hit the first of the two and lost all of his traction. Under all that g-force, the car spun out and he wasn't able to turn the car back. @KartingApexKing Contrary to some other drivers Schumacher was always looking for new challenges.
It took him 2 years to bring Benetton to the top, and 4 years (!) to lead the Scuderia to world title again for the 1st time since 1979. That my friend is an achievement of a really unique and exceptional driver called Michael Schumacher.
He had "wasted" many years. He could have won even more championships. But unlike Prost or Senna, MS never moved to a team which the best was.

@Hungary599 100% AGREE with @KartingApexKing and have always thought the same. Schumacher was so unique in that he never went to the best teams. He would go to a team and help bring them up and he could have been world champion many more times if he didn't spend time helping bring teams up.
@KartingApexKing You do realize that Schumacher made Ferrari the number 1 team again, right? Virtually every team he joined enjoyed vast success as a result of him.
@Drunkovskiful He's getting a bit too old now I think. He seems to have given up trying to be the best of the best of the best. I suppose he has nothing left to prove, but it'd still be an awesome kick in the face to everyone else if the old timer was still getting podium spots haha.

Truth be told, if Senna was still alive and retired in 2000 as he was planning on doing, he would have easily snatched a couple of Schumacher's championships.
@1king4all 2000? It's actually said that senna was contemplating retirement at the end of 1994. He'd already thought about it in 1991. He wouldn't have gone on until 2000. Not ever.
Stop comparing a rider who was unforgettable as rivals Prost, Mansell, with a face that only fellow who had to let him pass to gain by making the world see the greatest shame of F1. The world chose Senna the greatest driver in F1 hostória! Need I say more? You fools!
"Photographs of Ayrton Senna after the accident were taken by Senna's friend and Autosprint's picture editor, Angelo Orsi. Out of respect, those photographs have never been sold to interested parties."
All valid points, and yes while he himself has terrible sportsman ship he does have considerable driving skills. Nothing compered to Senna and Prost in their prime, no doubt.
@hungary599 Hey! Lol, my post was in no way directed toward you. In fact, in your argument with KoivuTheHab, you actually made sense whereas he just blundered onward like a pillock. Props on watching f1, some are losing interest. It's up to the real fans to keep it alive now.
Okay, im sorry, but you honestly can't compare Senna and Schumacher. Schumacher is a fine tuned German driving weapon. His driving is incredibly aggressive, and in all honesty he made clowns out of those racing against him during his prime. He could be likened to Floyd Mayweather today, i suppose. But Senna is like Muhammad Ali. I remember, everyone i knew back them was rooting for senna during every race. He is a legend and a deity in F1. If you're a true F1 fan, you like them both.
@beastleet i am not the only one, who compares Schumacher to Senna. When it's about the greatest driver of all time, these two names are mentioned generally...
..Even by F1 experts. I can't argue with them. I am not an expert, but just an enthusiastic F1 spectator.
@Hungary599 there are many great drivers and senna and schumi are two of them, people will always compare them but the fact of the matter is that you really cant. Some drivers have put in greater performances than senna ever did but not as consistently and some drivers have been more dominant than schumi ever was. Alberto Ascari was one of the greats, 9 consecutive wins and juan manuel fangio won 5 world titles. the fact is people always have favourites but all these drivers are truly great.
@beastleet Sorry for jumping in but I cant let this go un-challenge. Nothing against Schumacher but he was only better than his contemporaries most of the time. He didnt have to compete against the Greats like Prost Senna Pique in their prime facing the same problems (fuel, reliability, etc) Many different drivers won champion agianst Schumacher. Schumacher once tried to crash Vellineve to prevent him from passing in points chase. Instead crashed himself. A weapon indeed but himself a clown.
He may not have the glamour of Ayrton, but Schumacher is unique in his own way in that he was like a machine. Utterly relentless and ruthless. No other sport has thrown up such two different characters but at the same time two utterly incredible and fascinating men. Were they simple or complex men? Only they know. For me alongside Jim Clark, these two men are the greatest F1 has ever seen.
@beastleet not sure how you can say senna was not aggressive, he was renowned for his aggressive win at all cost and constantly pushed even when he had massive leads...Senna still holds records Schumacher could not break and unlike Shumacher, Senna never got to his prime...
@Hungary599 I hate to say, but i have checked and you're right. I have pictures of Ratzenberger death on a brancard. Long time ago i downloaded it with a bunch of old F1 pictures in a torrent on a motorsport forum. Thx 4 explanation
@R33Racer In addition the wheel hit his head too, causing multiple skull fractures. His head became so deformed, that even his family was not allowed to see Senna's body.
Just 1.9secs after the start of the chain of events that caused the crash, Senna ran out of time and the Williams smashed into the concrete wall on the outside of the Tamburello corner at 137mph.
The right front wheel was knocked back towards the cockpit and a suspension arm pierced Senna’s helmet visor, inflicting the fatal injury....
Four-hundredths of a second later, with the car already heading alarmingly quickly towards the outside of the track, the Williams’ Renault engine was no longer accelerating after its throttle dampeners had done their work....
Just 0.18secs after the car hit the second bump, Senna lifted off the accelerator as he began to try to slow it down from 191mph.
By now, he almost certainly knew he was not going to be able to keep the car on the track and so was determined to reduce his speed as much as possible before the car ran off the circuit onto rough ground....
Senna died more than 15 years ago and still loved, when Schumi retires in no more than 15 days nobody will remember him, FACT!!! Senna number 1 forever!!!!
@zaq2camp3999 What the hell is wrong with you Senna fanboys? Schumacher and Senna were not enemies and you can respect both. Also of course people will remember Schuumacher, only the most successful racing driver in Formula one history?
Too right. But Karma does not take vanity into account. Every beginning has an end, regardless. Karma does not have the same frame of mind than your average human being.
@Hungary599 How many times do I need to repeat myself? Plenty of drivers have been too aggressive and made mistakes, however only one has done this all on perpouse, and has done so increadibly many times. I also stated very clearly earlier that I do not believe in taking sports and it's athletes to court, so there is no need for you to put words in my mouth. Schumi is a cheater and one of the very worst professional sports has ever seen.
@KoivuTheHab He has huge amount of supporters throughout the world. Schumacher is a myth, an example for many. He popularized the sport, inspiring lot of kids to start karting, motor racing. Sebastian Vettel is one of them. Schumacher took time to call attention to safe driving. So, he can't be that "bad guy".
You say, that he is the "very worst professional athlete". I guess, that many people would disagree. I know your opinion about him...
@KoivuTheHab Ben Johnson, Mike Tyson can be really called as one of the worst athletes. Although they were as talented in their sports as Schumacher in F1, they have zero respect, they are models for noone, meanwhile the German is an Idol of millions.
That's the difference between the worst sportsmen and Schumacher.
@Hungary599 Actually those are idols for millions, especially Mike Tyson is a hero for a lot of black people. I do condemn these two athletes, however they harmed themselves (except Tyson's crazy ear biting incident...) and harming yourself is not the same as perpously trying to run others off the track at incredible speeds. As far as sportsmanship and respect goes Schumi is defenetly right down there with these athletes, I am however not interested in putting them in any particular order.
man, I had a friend who was from Hungary, so I know that not all Hungarians are as stupid as you, but DAMN you're a fucking retard!! have some respect for this legend you dumb ass. You're knocking Senna because he took chances and put his whole heart and soul into his races? Yeah he was aggressive and raced to win, that's why he was and will always be NUMBER 1!
@AlexBrasil123123 What are you talking about ??? I had a discussion with KoivuTheHab about Senna and Schumacher. He was criticizing Schumacher and I wrote that Senna was very aggressive on the track as well.
But it doesn't mean, that I wouldn't have respect for him.
@Hungary599 Senna had wanted the williams team to look at the steering column before imola and talked with them about that and other small changes he wanted them to make to the car..things that he was uncomfortable with and so on. - sad to say that his own changes to the car and its design, ended up killing him. they made the steering column longer, by putting a piece of extra metal on it. - that ended up breaking and without any control of the car it killed him at the Tamburello corner.

@KoivuTheHab Schumacher's battles with Mika Häkkinen were legendary. They mutually respected each other and they always delivered a fantastic show.
MS beat Mika in a fair, clear battle at Suzuka in 2000. Schumacher kept his nerves and got a well-deserved world championship trophy for himself and for Ferrari.
When you keep mentioning how "unfair" Schumacher is, don't forget to write about his merits as well. He is a true racing driver, a tough opponent, NOT a criminal !
@Hungary599 Mutually respected each other? Was that a joke? Have you not heard of their battles before F1? Schumi rammed an overtaking Häkkinen in the last corner of the last race. First place was not enough for Schumi to win the title if Häkkinen finished 2nd so he let Häkkinen pass before ramming him off the road only 100's of meters before the finish line. The cheating Schumi managed to cross the finish line and ended up winning the championship. Schumacher - Legendary Cheater
@KoivuTheHab Schumacher's battles with Mika Häkkinen were legendary. They mutually respected each other and they always delivered a fantastic show.

When you keep repeating how "unfair" Schumacher is, don't forget to write about his merits as well. He is a true racing driver, a tough opponent, NOT a criminal !
@KoivuTheHab So, he won seven world titles purely by cheating ? At least your comments suggest that. You haven't written any positive thing about him.
@Hungary599 Actually I have, and I've stated that there is no doubt he was a very fast and talented drive in his prime even if at some points his car was far superior compared to others. He didn't win all championships by cheating obviously, but it is enough that you cheat once to be labelled an unfair opponent and he did it countless times so there is really no excuse. I celebrated when he broke his leg(s) but I hoped for a worse fate, he did life threatening things to others on perpouse.
@KoivuTheHab Did you really celebrate when he broke his leg ?? I can't believe that ! I respected your comments, but wishing someone to injure seriously is totally unacceptable to me.
You criticize his "unfairness", although your act is everything but worthy to the spirit of sport. I am not writing that he is without mistake, but he had achieved something, what is unprecedented. He was working hard to get to the top.
@Hungary599 Yes I did, I firmly believe that if you perpously put others in a life threatening position you deserve the very same fate. If someone, in this case Schumi, has done things to others that can put them in danger he very much deserved to break his leg. I very much hoped he would not come back and cheat again in F1, but unfortunately he did. It is true that he worked very hard to get to the top, I have never denied that. I have zero respect for Schumi as a person and as a competitor.
@Hungary599 No he wasn't and he did not deserve to die. He was a fair hard nosed driver, actually the exact opposite of Schumi because Senna didn't cheat. Senna was the stereotypical fair professional that everyone admired.
@KoivuTheHab Well, Just like Schumacher, Senna also divided the fans. He was an extremely controversial driver.
Many people liked him, but many couldn't stand him. You can really find fair sportsmen, whom (almost) everyone like and admire : Roger Federer, Sebastian Vettel. Sorry, Senna isn't among them.
@KoivuTheHab Senna was a believer. He thought that god would protect him. But co-drivers said They needed protection against Senna. So much about his fairness.
@Hungary599 Well that was also rather juvenile, however that has nothing to do with Schumi being an unfair cheater. I'm not sure why you are trying to put blame on a bunch of other drivers. Can you not concentrate on the (un)fairness of Michael Schumacher? Or have you perhaps given up hope on trying to convince people he was a fair opponent? There is more than plenty of evidence to go around, I think I have made my point and can rest my case. Schumi is and forever will be a cheater.
@KoivuTheHab No, to your mind Schumi is a criminal who should be killed or at least he should be seriously injured.. I can not accept that kind of attitude.
He is a record-holder in F1, and probably the only one who can match Senna in terms of speed, aggressivity, fitness, working capacity. You can not have them by "cheating". It is in your blood, or it isn't.
@Hungary599 In a way he is a criminal yes, however attempts of bodily harm in sports do not tend to go into court, nor do I think he should not have been tried in court, but he should have been banned from all race tracks around the globe, there is no doubt about that. Also if someone tried to murder me or my family, yes I do think they deserve death, but I will not kill this person because it is illegal. It is this same logic that gives me the right to think he deserved to get his leg broken.
@KoivuTheHab Senna was the saint itself ? Well, let's see :
1990 Suzuka : Senna didn't make a secret about what he would do, when Prost made a better start. We all know, that he kept his promise, crashing into Prost's Ferrari intentionally at full speed. (illegal, life threatening cheat).
@Hungary599 Why do you keep talking about Senna? This isn't about Senna, we are talking about Michael Schumacher, STILL. I don't want to hear you comparing Senna and Schumi. What I would like to hear you say is trying to disprove the fact the Schumacher is a cheater. You simply keep changing the subject because you are unable to run from the fact that Schumi is annd forever will be a cheater.
@KoivuTheHab No. I have admitted, that Schumacher has had some dirty maneuvres. You keep repeating how "fair" Senna was. Maybe you should also acknowledge that Senna also did illegal stuffs. That's it !
@Hungary599 I do not keep repeating how fair Senna was, and frankly I don't care about Senna. I never proclaimed Senna was a saint nor do I doubt he may have made mistakes, the only thing I've said is that Schumi is a cheater who perpously ran other drivers off the track so many times that I can't count them on my fingers alone.
@KoivuTheHab So Schumacher pushed off some other drivers from the track a few (!) times...and that makes the whole person for you a cheater?! Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers of all time, his success is remarkable. I don't think "cheater" should be the first and only word to describe him ;)
@Gryphon1984 Yes, pushing other drivers out on several occasions on perpouse deffenetly makes you a cheater. I'd be very surprised if anyone would think otherwisde.
@Hungary599 I haven't denied that he is a legend. However you are wrong again, a mistake is when you do something by accident. Cheating on perpouse isn't an accident, it's planned.
@KoivuTheHab Some people trie to demonize him, forgetting that he is an exemplary family man, an (ex) UNICEF Ambassador, an extremely gifted, hard-working sportsman. He donated (10 mn dollar) more for the victims of the Tsunami than any other world star.
There is the tough, sometimes ruthless racing driver who knows no mercy, and there is the totally different, human Schumacher, who is as normal as anyone else.
@Hungary599 He is a cheater, he planned to run other drivers off the road and did so in races. He perpously did these things. That isn't called being a ruthless driver, it's called being a cheater.
@KoivuTheHab So, you say that Schumacher should be killed, or as least should be seriously injured, because you don't like him, and because he is a cheater, a criminal, who would deserve that.
Well, then let's see what people tihnk about it. I'm eager to learn that !
@Hungary599 No, as I stated before it's not because I don't like him, it's because he is ready to perpously inflict physical damage to others and potentially putting them in life threatening situations. If someone murders your wife and children, do they not deserve death? If someone plans to murder your wife and children but fails, do they not deserve death? If someone is ready to harm innocent people they deserve to be harmed themselves. It's a very simple consept that I firmly stand by.
@KoivuTheHab No, real life a totally different story. In sport there are other rules. If you want to win a box match, you must knock out your opponent, you must hurt him. F1 is similar to martial art.
It's a dangerous, life-threatening sport. If you make a mistake or if your car fails, you must be prepared for getting hurt. .In F1 If you want to win, you have to take a certain risk. When you're overtaking at 300 km/h, you risk your own and your rival's life...
@KoivuTheHab ...Criminals are (in most cases) sentenced to imprisonment.
Unfair sportsmen are getting penalty, yellow or red cars. But Schumacher is much more than just an unfair sportsman. It's only part of his personality. He is a genius in the car. Criminals are doing bad stuffs only. So don't mistake him with them.
@KoivuTheHab ...1985 Monaco Qualifying : Senna was driving around the track for long laps with slow speed, not letting anyone to pass him. He was not even trying to improve his fastest lap, he just held up / blocked other drivers who could have threatened his position. Similar, what Schumacher did in 2006, but more clever, much more sophisticated cheat !
Yes, he should have been banned from all race tracks. That's, what drivers required as a punishment for Senna, who didn't have too many...
Schumacher and Häkkinen were joyful during the San Marino podium ceremony. Nicola Larini, achieving his career 1st and only podium position was the only one who actually had his thoughts on Senna, Ratzenberger and other bad stuff occured during that weekend. Mika and Michael were just 2 immature and stupid kids at the time.
But Senna was the "Magical" driver, whose death totally schocked the world. It was unimaginable that a driver like Senna, with such outstanding skills can die in an F1 car. Roland was a rookie in that year, but Senna with 3 world champion titles and with lots of poles was regarded "untouchable".
@Hungary599 Well cars are known to break, not sure that is much of a point. I checked and there was infact one single day between the deaths, not years...

Deep inside he was happy he just got rid of an obstacle on the race track. One less driver to run off the road. Schumi is and always will be a liar and a cheat.
You're using your loser mentality to analyze this, winners don't think like that, an unbeatable challenge is the best thing that can happen to you, why would he want to get rid of it?
@4c00h If he wanted a challenge why did he perpously crash with other drivers when it was advantageous for him? That's right, he is creep who only cared about himself and his victories, doing everything to win, with or without cheating.
senna was acting tense and looked worried before the race... maybe god gave him a sign that better, nicer things are waiting for him in heaven, and so ayrton decided to meet his lord... because if you look at the accident, everything seemed calm and well, and that he purposely stopped turning the wheel mid corner
@tderias You're suggesting he commit suicide as, woe-be-gone, he had had enough of the world and decided to meet "god"? Yeah, what a great idea! For a start, being an intelligent man, he'll have known there's always the chance he wouldn't get himself killed and instead end up paralysed - like Phillipe Steiff or Clay Regazzoni. Secondly, the telemetry from the black box of the Williams showed he was hard on the brakes in an attempt to slow down. Idiotic religious wavering like yours is dangerous.
@tderias LOL! ROFLMAO! Yes, it does make me feel in danger when psychotic relgious weirdos decide it is in everyone's best interests to force their anachronistic notions on the world through whatever means necessary...
@tderias Not really. Can you actually remember what you wrote in your first message? You were suggesting Ayrton Senna decided to commit suicide in his F1 car. All I can write to you is that you're clearly an idiot, so leave reasoning be and try to learn something from others.
@MrThreshold2009 Not really. It could have been a valid point if not for that telemetry info. Anyways I agree it was a mis-judgement since I didnt know much about the accident. I've watched some vids on youtube and now I think it's a steering failure that has caused him to veer off the track.
It pisses me off to see Bernie Ecclestone apple-polishing Vettel, he and Jackie Stewart saying he is one of the best drivers in F1 history. Ohh c'mon what has he done? Won 2 world titles racing for a far superior team? Don't get me wrong, he has done his job right so far, but I think there is a lot more to prove before putting him among the best ones...

Truth be told, if Senna was still alive and retired in 2000 as he was planning on doing, he would have easily snatched a couple of Schumacher's championships.
1king4all 1 month ago
@1king4all 2000? It's actually said that senna was contemplating retirement at the end of 1994. He'd already thought about it in 1991. He wouldn't have gone on until 2000. Not ever.

Stop comparing a rider who was unforgettable as rivals Prost, Mansell, with a face that only fellow who had to let him pass to gain by making the world see the greatest shame of F1. The world chose Senna the greatest driver in F1 hostória! Need I say more? You fools!

@Cassandraspetcanary

It's up to the real fans to keep it alive now.
beastleet 2 months ago
Okay, im sorry, but you honestly can't compare Senna and Schumacher. Schumacher is a fine tuned German driving weapon. His driving is incredibly aggressive, and in all honesty he made clowns out of those racing against him during his prime. He could be likened to Floyd Mayweather today, i suppose. But Senna is like Muhammad Ali. I remember, everyone i knew back them was rooting for senna during every race. He is a legend and a deity in F1. If you're a true F1 fan, you like them both.
beastleet 2 months ago 85
@beastleet i am not the only one, who compares Schumacher to Senna. When it's about the greatest driver of all time, these two names are mentioned generally...
..Even by F1 experts. I can't argue with them. I am not an expert, but just an enthusiastic F1 spectator.
Hungary599 2 months ago 2
@Hungary599 there are many great drivers and senna and schumi are two of them, people will always compare them but the fact of the matter is that you really cant. Some drivers have put in greater performances than senna ever did but not as consistently and some drivers have been more dominant than schumi ever was. Alberto Ascari was one of the greats, 9 consecutive wins and juan manuel fangio won 5 world titles. the fact is people always have favourites but all these drivers are truly great.
Andy13231 1 month ago
@beastleet Sorry for jumping in but I cant let this go un-challenge. Nothing against Schumacher but he was only better than his contemporaries most of the time. He didnt have to compete against the Greats like Prost Senna Pique in their prime facing the same problems (fuel, reliability, etc) Many different drivers won champion agianst Schumacher. Schumacher once tried to crash Vellineve to prevent him from passing in points chase. Instead crashed himself. A weapon indeed but himself a clown.
Cassandraspetcanary 2 months ago
@beastleet Indeed.
It was the other drives that had to play along Senna's rules; crash with me or let me through.

Hungary599 2 months ago
Out of time :
Just 1.9secs after the start of the chain of events that caused the crash, Senna ran out of time and the Williams smashed into the concrete wall on the outside of the Tamburello corner at 137mph.
The right front wheel was knocked back towards the cockpit and a suspension arm pierced Senna’s helmet visor, inflicting the fatal injury....
Hungary599 2 months ago
Braking hard :
It took 0.27secs more for the brakes to start to slow the car – a delay accounted for by Senna’s reactions and pressure build-up in the system.
The car decelerates at more than 4G while on the track, losing 54mph before impact.
The braking discounts one outlandish theory – that Senna passed out briefly because he was holding his breath....
Hungary599 2 months ago
Time running out :
Four-hundredths of a second later, with the car already heading alarmingly quickly towards the outside of the track, the Williams’ Renault engine was no longer accelerating after its throttle dampeners had done their work....
Hungary599 2 months ago
Senna senses trouble :
Just 0.18secs after the car hit the second bump, Senna lifted off the accelerator as he began to try to slow it down from 191mph.
By now, he almost certainly knew he was not going to be able to keep the car on the track and so was determined to reduce his speed as much as possible before the car ran off the circuit onto rough ground....
Hungary599 2 months ago
The crucial moment :
Just 0.04secs after Senna responded to the initial slide, the car hit the second bump.
This resulted in a sudden loss of front-end grip which, in combination with the rear tyres sliding, meant the car suddenly turned right.
This is crucial in undermining the steering-failure theory, as in that case the car would have continued straight on....
Hungary599 2 months ago
Senna reacts :
Just under 0.15secs after the car started to slide, the throttle reduced from fully open to 40% and the force going through the steering reduced.
Williams say this was Senna lifting off and trying to correct the slide.
The reaction time elapsed from the moment the car hit the bump is what would be expected of a driver of Senna’s ability....
Hungary599 2 months ago
Problems start :
The car’s rear tyres began to slide as it hit the first of two sets of bumps.
This happened, Williams say, because the airflow under the car was disrupted, combined with the higher G-forces.
The cornering speed of F1 cars is strongly dependant on aerodynamics. Any disruption dramatically reduces grip, and can cause a loss of control...
Hungary599 2 months ago
Fateful decision :
The crash happened on the second lap after a re-start.
Senna took a tighter line at Tamburello to ease the car’s travel over bumps that upset it on the first lap.
But at 191mph, he was going faster than the previous lap.
Combined with the altered trajectory, that more than doubled the cornering forces on the car from 1.5G to 3.27G...

KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab He has huge amount of supporters throughout the world. Schumacher is a myth, an example for many. He popularized the sport, inspiring lot of kids to start karting, motor racing. Sebastian Vettel is one of them. Schumacher took time to call attention to safe driving. So, he can't be that "bad guy".
You say, that he is the "very worst professional athlete". I guess, that many people would disagree. I know your opinion about him...
Hungary599 3 months ago

Hungary599 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Ben Johnson, Mike Tyson can be really called as one of the worst athletes. Although they were as talented in their sports as Schumacher in F1, they have zero respect, they are models for noone, meanwhile the German is an Idol of millions.
That's the difference between the worst sportsmen and Schumacher.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Actually those are idols for millions, especially Mike Tyson is a hero for a lot of black people. I do condemn these two athletes, however they harmed themselves (except Tyson's crazy ear biting incident...) and harming yourself is not the same as perpously trying to run others off the track at incredible speeds. As far as sportsmanship and respect goes Schumi is defenetly right down there with these athletes, I am however not interested in putting them in any particular order.

Did the steering fail?
The prosecutor argued that a steering-column modification was not carried out with enough care and that the new piece fatigued and broke.
Williams agree there was a partial stress fracture, but say their data prove the column (inset) was working and that it broke on impact.
The judge said the prosecution failed to prove its case.
Hungary599 3 months ago

Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Mutually respected each other? Was that a joke? Have you not heard of their battles before F1? Schumi rammed an overtaking Häkkinen in the last corner of the last race. First place was not enough for Schumi to win the title if Häkkinen finished 2nd so he let Häkkinen pass before ramming him off the road only 100's of meters before the finish line. The cheating Schumi managed to cross the finish line and ended up winning the championship. Schumacher - Legendary Cheater

Hungary599 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab So, he won seven world titles purely by cheating ? At least your comments suggest that. You haven't written any positive thing about him.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Actually I have, and I've stated that there is no doubt he was a very fast and talented drive in his prime even if at some points his car was far superior compared to others. He didn't win all championships by cheating obviously, but it is enough that you cheat once to be labelled an unfair opponent and he did it countless times so there is really no excuse. I celebrated when he broke his leg(s) but I hoped for a worse fate, he did life threatening things to others on perpouse.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Did you really celebrate when he broke his leg ?? I can't believe that ! I respected your comments, but wishing someone to injure seriously is totally unacceptable to me.
You criticize his "unfairness", although your act is everything but worthy to the spirit of sport. I am not writing that he is without mistake, but he had achieved something, what is unprecedented. He was working hard to get to the top.
Hungary599 3 months ago 12
@Hungary599 Yes I did, I firmly believe that if you perpously put others in a life threatening position you deserve the very same fate. If someone, in this case Schumi, has done things to others that can put them in danger he very much deserved to break his leg. I very much hoped he would not come back and cheat again in F1, but unfortunately he did. It is true that he worked very hard to get to the top, I have never denied that. I have zero respect for Schumi as a person and as a competitor.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab And Senna wasn't threatening other people's life...
So, according to your logic, did he "deserve death" ? Absurd !!!
I simply can't get, how can someone (who by the way seems to be pretty intelligent - I am not flattering) make such comment !
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 No he wasn't and he did not deserve to die. He was a fair hard nosed driver, actually the exact opposite of Schumi because Senna didn't cheat. Senna was the stereotypical fair professional that everyone admired.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Well, Just like Schumacher, Senna also divided the fans. He was an extremely controversial driver.
Many people liked him, but many couldn't stand him. You can really find fair sportsmen, whom (almost) everyone like and admire : Roger Federer, Sebastian Vettel. Sorry, Senna isn't among them.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Senna was a believer. He thought that god would protect him. But co-drivers said They needed protection against Senna. So much about his fairness.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Well that was also rather juvenile, however that has nothing to do with Schumi being an unfair cheater. I'm not sure why you are trying to put blame on a bunch of other drivers. Can you not concentrate on the (un)fairness of Michael Schumacher? Or have you perhaps given up hope on trying to convince people he was a fair opponent? There is more than plenty of evidence to go around, I think I have made my point and can rest my case. Schumi is and forever will be a cheater.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab No, to your mind Schumi is a criminal who should be killed or at least he should be seriously injured.. I can not accept that kind of attitude.
He is a record-holder in F1, and probably the only one who can match Senna in terms of speed, aggressivity, fitness, working capacity. You can not have them by "cheating". It is in your blood, or it isn't.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 In a way he is a criminal yes, however attempts of bodily harm in sports do not tend to go into court, nor do I think he should not have been tried in court, but he should have been banned from all race tracks around the globe, there is no doubt about that. Also if someone tried to murder me or my family, yes I do think they deserve death, but I will not kill this person because it is illegal. It is this same logic that gives me the right to think he deserved to get his leg broken.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Senna was the saint itself ? Well, let's see :
1990 Suzuka : Senna didn't make a secret about what he would do, when Prost made a better start. We all know, that he kept his promise, crashing into Prost's Ferrari intentionally at full speed. (illegal, life threatening cheat).
...
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Why do you keep talking about Senna? This isn't about Senna, we are talking about Michael Schumacher, STILL. I don't want to hear you comparing Senna and Schumi. What I would like to hear you say is trying to disprove the fact the Schumacher is a cheater. You simply keep changing the subject because you are unable to run from the fact that Schumi is annd forever will be a cheater.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab No. I have admitted, that Schumacher has had some dirty maneuvres. You keep repeating how "fair" Senna was. Maybe you should also acknowledge that Senna also did illegal stuffs. That's it !
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 I do not keep repeating how fair Senna was, and frankly I don't care about Senna. I never proclaimed Senna was a saint nor do I doubt he may have made mistakes, the only thing I've said is that Schumi is a cheater who perpously ran other drivers off the track so many times that I can't count them on my fingers alone.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab So Schumacher pushed off some other drivers from the track a few (!) times...and that makes the whole person for you a cheater?! Schumacher is one of the greatest drivers of all time, his success is remarkable. I don't think "cheater" should be the first and only word to describe him ;)
Gryphon1984 3 months ago
@Gryphon1984 Yes, pushing other drivers out on several occasions on perpouse deffenetly makes you a cheater. I'd be very surprised if anyone would think otherwisde.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab I say that Schumi is a legend, who has made some mistakes.
Hungary599 3 months ago 2
@Hungary599 I haven't denied that he is a legend. However you are wrong again, a mistake is when you do something by accident. Cheating on perpouse isn't an accident, it's planned.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab Some people trie to demonize him, forgetting that he is an exemplary family man, an (ex) UNICEF Ambassador, an extremely gifted, hard-working sportsman. He donated (10 mn dollar) more for the victims of the Tsunami than any other world star.
There is the tough, sometimes ruthless racing driver who knows no mercy, and there is the totally different, human Schumacher, who is as normal as anyone else.
Hungary599 3 months ago 30
@Hungary599 He is a cheater, he planned to run other drivers off the road and did so in races. He perpously did these things. That isn't called being a ruthless driver, it's called being a cheater.

@KoivuTheHab So, you say that Schumacher should be killed, or as least should be seriously injured, because you don't like him, and because he is a cheater, a criminal, who would deserve that.
Well, then let's see what people tihnk about it. I'm eager to learn that !
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 No, as I stated before it's not because I don't like him, it's because he is ready to perpously inflict physical damage to others and potentially putting them in life threatening situations. If someone murders your wife and children, do they not deserve death? If someone plans to murder your wife and children but fails, do they not deserve death? If someone is ready to harm innocent people they deserve to be harmed themselves. It's a very simple consept that I firmly stand by.
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@KoivuTheHab No, real life a totally different story. In sport there are other rules. If you want to win a box match, you must knock out your opponent, you must hurt him. F1 is similar to martial art.
It's a dangerous, life-threatening sport. If you make a mistake or if your car fails, you must be prepared for getting hurt. .In F1 If you want to win, you have to take a certain risk. When you're overtaking at 300 km/h, you risk your own and your rival's life...
Hungary599 3 months ago

@KoivuTheHab ...friends among the drivers, he got lot of enemies.

@KoivuTheHab @THEDUCK201 Of Course, not forgetting Roland Ratzenberger either.

@KoivuTheHab Then why was he crying when he learned the news of Senna's death ??

@alex26376 What is a ''Fuc''? Is that something between your legs child?

@KoivuTheHab
You're using your loser mentality to analyze this, winners don't think like that, an unbeatable challenge is the best thing that can happen to you, why would he want to get rid of it?
4c00h 3 months ago
@4c00h If he wanted a challenge why did he perpously crash with other drivers when it was advantageous for him? That's right, he is creep who only cared about himself and his victories, doing everything to win, with or without cheating.

if your Williams breaks in a 300 km/h turn you are no longer a racing driver ... :-|

@Hungary599 what does it tell you?
CitizenZon3 3 months ago
@CitizenZon3 Shock. After so many years without a mortal accident in F1 it was hard to believe that someone could lose his life on the track.
Hungary599 3 months ago
@Hungary599 Didn't a driver die earlier the same damn weekend?! It was like 2 days afterwards that Senna died, not years...
KoivuTheHab 3 months ago
@Hungary599 It had happened the day before, with Roland Ratzenburger?

Senna death
mr0lsen 4 months ago
senna was acting tense and looked worried before the race... maybe god gave him a sign that better, nicer things are waiting for him in heaven, and so ayrton decided to meet his lord... because if you look at the accident, everything seemed calm and well, and that he purposely stopped turning the wheel mid corner
tderias 4 months ago
@tderias You're suggesting he commit suicide as, woe-be-gone, he had had enough of the world and decided to meet "god"? Yeah, what a great idea! For a start, being an intelligent man, he'll have known there's always the chance he wouldn't get himself killed and instead end up paralysed - like Phillipe Steiff or Clay Regazzoni. Secondly, the telemetry from the black box of the Williams showed he was hard on the brakes in an attempt to slow down. Idiotic religious wavering like yours is dangerous.
MrThreshold2009 4 months ago
@MrThreshold2009 mmm dangerous... i like that. does it make you feel in danger... huh? huh?..........huh? rofl
tderias 4 months ago
@tderias LOL! ROFLMAO! Yes, it does make me feel in danger when psychotic relgious weirdos decide it is in everyone's best interests to force their anachronistic notions on the world through whatever means necessary...
MrThreshold2009 4 months ago
@MrThreshold2009 ooh a lot of big words their friend... making a bit too much out of a youtube comment? I'd certainly think so...
tderias 4 months ago
@tderias Not really. Can you actually remember what you wrote in your first message? You were suggesting Ayrton Senna decided to commit suicide in his F1 car. All I can write to you is that you're clearly an idiot, so leave reasoning be and try to learn something from others.
MrThreshold2009 4 months ago
@MrThreshold2009 Not really. It could have been a valid point if not for that telemetry info. Anyways I agree it was a mis-judgement since I didnt know much about the accident. I've watched some vids on youtube and now I think it's a steering failure that has caused him to veer off the track.
