The fact that Reid said "This war is lost"? Or the fact that he eats cheese? I am quoting him on the first part, and the second is really only a presumption based on the fact that he's wealthy and therefore probably eats fancy cheeses. Look at the graph. It starts at 100%. It isn't said, but it makes the graph look like Congressional approval ratings fell FAR worse than they did.
What confuses me, is why don't you use the Dem's 3% approval rating on the war, from the Repubs' over 50% rating back when it was fresh. Not only would that be honest, it would actually create a better graph, because the dems would be basically hitting the bottom.

You could, you know, just change the numbers of the side to have the old congress's 24% at the top of the screen, and the new one's teens at the bottom. It'd look exactly the same, and be honest-ish.

I am quoting him on the first part, and the second is really only a presumption based on the fact that he's wealthy and therefore probably eats fancy cheeses. Surrendering can be a tiring business, and it requires daily replenishment in the form of fine wine and fancy cheeses.

Look at the graph. It starts at 100%. It isn't said, but it makes the graph look like Congressional approval ratings fell FAR worse than they did.
What confuses me, is why don't you use the Dem's 3% approval rating on the war, from the Repubs' over 50% rating back when it was fresh. Not only would that be honest, it would actually create a better graph, because the dems would be basically hitting the bottom.
I don't really care about the political message itself, I just want an honest graph.

Do you read your bible in the original text? Are you fluent in the cultural nuances of word choice in Aramaic? How about translating Hebrew? Spend any time validating translations verses their contextual environment?
Given that that isn't your area of expertise, how are you qualified to discuss your own faith much less the faith of others?

OK, remove "your own faith" and replace it with "any faith". The question was linguistic however, not religious. You indicated that "moderate Muslims" and "Infidels" translated "THE EXACT SAME" text differently. Are you a linguist with any training or experience? How do you know, personally, that an alternate translation isn't perfectly valid? When you say "how hypocritical" you're implying some understanding of the subject.
Oh and change "your bible" to "the bible" or something pertinent.

When Infidels provide a certain verse from the Quran that doesn't favor Islam, the response from "moderate Muslims" is "the translation is incorrect". They do NOT however supply their "correct" version of the translation. BUT - in private, away from Infidel eyes - their "translation" is the EXACT same one as the Infidel provided - so how is it possible that we ALL HAVE THE EXACT SAME TRANSLATION?
